she nodded, knowing that she had screwed up with him. She didn't expect anything else then for him not to trust her again. "But.. I just want you to know that there are no more secrets.. this was one, the biggest one of my entire life.. it feels like a relief that it is out in the open, even though my dad is going to hate me if he finds out"

"Not really. Being 'under investigation' means I'm not supposed to know anything until they're sure that my judgement is not compromised." Tom shrugged, "But I was kinda aiming to make Judy say something 'bout it when we get there." He admitted with a slight smirk.

Tom shrugged his shoulders, putting his hands deep into his pocket while they kept on walking. "I don't know. I should. I mean, this could cost me my job. But.. I'm still in love with you. I can't switch that off. Wouldn't want to, either."

to hear him say that he was still in love with her was kind of a relief, even though sooner or later he would probably want to find a switch to turn it off..

They reached Judy's appartment and stood still in front of it, neither of them urged to go inside yet. Tom turned to face Roxy, not sure how to answer her question. "..I don't know." He said eventually. "Would you want that?"

She shook her head "No, not at all.. but it's probably not a smart idea to keep seeing each other after what I did or during what's still going to happen.." she hated trying to sound rational. Right now she just wanted to jump in his arms and cuddle him until she felt safe again.
