Tom glanced over to her and nodded. He had promised her, after all. "Of course. Just.. remember what I said, okay?"
Sera got kind of freaked out by Fuller, so she casted her eyes down to the ground. "Whatever." She mumbled. When the others came too, she looked over to them and edged to stand with Tom, Doug and Stacey.

"Tom, Doug, you're riding with me and Mckenzie, Stacy and Sera can ride with these two gentlemen here" He said and then left the building
Stacy followed the officers but kept close to Sera. They got into the car and drove off, all of them, to the station.
Doug just stared ahead of him out of the window, wondering if Fuller was really going to keep them off the job. He figured not, cause Fuller needed them..
And besides, it was more Tom's idea to use his appartment then it was his..
Fuller broke the silence in the car "I'm disappointed in you two, I expected more highly of you" he muttered "Those girls lives were in danger to night, thanks to you two"
Doug glanced at Fuller "Yeah, we screwed this up. It didn't go as planned"

Tom kept his gaze directed out of the window still. "They would've been in danger either way." He mumbled. "Just trying to do what was right, captain."
In the other car, Sera leaned over to Stacey. "..Do you think they'll keep us there?" She asked in concern.

"Yes well.. you know I'm going to have to report this trying-to-do-what-was-right" Fuller said "I can't keep this from them"
"And what happens in the time you report this and all?" Doug wanted to know
"I can't suspend you guys, and I don't have to. Not until the report has made it to the headsergants office.. I still need you two to solve this case" he mumbled, he was already thinking of a plan as to what would be the next step to catch the killer
Stacy shook her head "They can't right? how can they.. ?" Shewasn't sure of her answer because she had no idea what the normal procedure was in cases like these. "You can never hold anyone longer than 24 hours without any evidence or something.. so they can't keep us there too long" It was the only thing she knew about police-matters.

Fuller's words made Tom turn his head, looking at Fuller, and then over to Doug. That was good news at least.. He would've hated to leave this case before they ever made an arrest. He had figured they were in trouble, but he had kept the silent hope that they wouldn't be pulled away from this.
Maybe if they solved it without anybody ever getting hurt in the time since they started it.. the headoffice's verdict about his actions wouldn't be too strict.
Setting his hopes on that, Tom leaned forward in his seat. "So, did Ioki and Hoffs find anything about the highschool kids? Someone who kept skipping classes during the murders or whatever?"
"Okay.." Sera bit her lip, looking through the windshield to the car ahead of them where the boys were. "...maybe we'll be better of kept in custody until this killer is caught, Stace..?"

"Or not ? They can find out things we don't want them to find out.. Ser" she whispered, glancing at the two officers in the front of the car. The police research was massive, they probably did not need much time to crack Tom and Doug about what both her and Sera had done to get around..
Once they reached Jump Street the cars pulled up and everyone got out. Fuller lead the way, of course.
"Ioki, Hoffs, Penhall and Hanson I want you four in my offers. Girls, go make yourselves at home, this might take a while" he said to Stacy and Sera, then headed to his office.
"What ? A while? how long is a while?!" Stacy wanted to know, but Fuller didn't take any effort to turn around and inform them about anything else.

Tom turned back in his stride to Fuller's door, shrugged his shoulders apologetically at the girls, and disappeared through the door as last of the five. He closed the door behind them.
Hoffs frowned at what was going on. "What happened?" She asked, unaware of things.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the office doors, Sera sat down on one of the vacant desks. She looked around herself curiously. "...Strange to think Tom and Doug actually work here." She said out loud.

"I..I guess" Stacy looked around, she had not given that idea much thought yet. "And to think that Tom and I came here to press charges against the killer, thinking he was new to this place too" She sighed and inspected the desk, then she opened one of the drawers, to find a few paperclips, a paper airplane, a toy guinea pig animal and doggy biscuits.. "Wonder who's desk this is" she mumbled, not realising it was Tom's  "We eh.. Tom used his own place for those two girls, to keep them safe. But it kinda.. backfired" he explains briefly to Judy. "Hoffs, could you explain to Tom and Doug what you've found out about this college kid?' He asked, wanting her to tell about the rumours that a certain Anthony Belano is said to be the killer.. |

Sera looked around, and smiled for the first time since the attack. "...Let's check this out." She said. "Since they lied to us, we're now allowed to find out everything about them right?" She hopped of her seat and walked over to Stacey to inspect the rest of the drawers with her.
"Sure," Hoffs nodded, "We searched the highschools and colleges around the east side of the town. There were four of them, but on one there were reports of this kid who kept missing his classes. On the same days as the killings occured." She explained, "And, when we went to his school, one of the kids there said this guy had been bragging about 'making the world a better place' when he was not in class." Hoffs shrugged, "His name is Anthony Belano. We didn't manage to contact him yet."
"Do we have an adress or something?" Tom asked.

"We do, but his parents deny that their son is skipping school. I'm guessing Anthony is good at keeping the schoolboard away from his parents..which is why.. we need to set him up, frame him. Catch him redhanded" he broke down to the basics "And for that we need you Tom.. you and Stacy" Fuller looked at Tom
Doug whistled through his teeth "That's quite a big plan you've got there chief"
Stacy chuckled "I'm in" she said, not thinking twice. She emptied the last drawer and looked at a note "Dear Tom, you have no idea how happy you make me. I will try to show you. Love Amy" She read it out loud and chuckled "Well well, our Tom has a girlfriend" I mumble, not knowing Amy is diceased
