"I don't know how I can screw up but I'm scared I will. Even doing nothing can go wrong with me" She explained vaguely and shrugged "I'll do it, and I hope I won't do anything wrong. I mean.. the sooner we're done with this the sooner things can get back to normal right? That's what we want.."
Going back to normal for Stacy meant living on the streets in piece again. And something else as well.. she had decided from the moment this crazyness started that it was time to move on, to another town. If this was over she'd leave, she needed a new hidingplace, with or without Sera.

"Yeah." Sera took her friends hand and smiled, "We'll be fine, once that killer is behind bars."
Meanwhile, Tom and Doug returned with two cups of coffee for the girls. Tom sort of hoped they had made up their mind already. The sooner this killer would be off the street, the better. Cos who could gurantee he wouldn't move on to the next victim while they were here dicussing their approach?

Doug handed his cup to Stacy and sat down on a desk "Well? You girls talked it over yet?" he asked, not having much patience.
Stacy took a sip and then nodded "Yeah.. I'll do it..if this is the only chance we have at the moment then we'll take it. We need to get rid of this nightmare, if this is the way then so be it" She mumbled and glanced at Tom "But I can't promise you I'll do my job perfectly..sorry"

Tom gave her a reassuring smile, "You don't have to anything. Don't worry about it." He told her, "All you have to do is be there, the rest is up to us."

"Okay.. I'll be there" she answered and glanced at Sera, still not feeling to great about the idea of having to catch a killer together with Tom. It made her nervous.
Doug got up again "I'll tell Fuller immediatly, we should be able to start right away and get this sonovabitch" He headed to Fullers office, knocked and when disappeared inside.
"It's going to start right away?" Stacy asked, not sure if they had time to let the killer wait..

"The sooner he's off the streets, the better." Tom explained. Judy walked past, and Tom put a hand on her shoulder, getting her attention. "Jude, could you find some bulletproof vests with the girls?" He asked.
"Yeah, sure." She gave Stacy and Sera a smile. "Come along." She gestured, and lead the way upstairs where they kept that sort of thing.
She glanced over her shoulder to the girls as they walked up the stairs, and smiled. "It's really a brave, good thing you're doing."

Hoffs smiled, "A couple of years. I've been with the JumpStreet program from its beginning. That's almost a year ago now." She pulled open a locker and looked through it for small sizes of bulletproof vests. Since she was the only girl in the team, they mostly only had male sizes. But she found a few she thought might fit, and took them out of the locker. "Here you go."

Stacy took the bullerproof vest from Judy and glanced at it. "Aren't you ever scared you might get hurt, or even killed? I mean...you're just a girl.." She said slowly.
"Fuller says we gotta be ready in half an hour. Ioki is going to school now, he'll keep an eye on the suspect. Fuller wants you and Stacy walking by the school or at least within sight of the killer so he'll skip and finish the job. Where's your Bulletproof vest? Better put it on and get ready man" Doug said.
