"Every man's dream." Tom smirked at Stacey. Since captain Fuller was gone already, he figured he didn't have to inform anyone that he was taking two main witnesses home with him. The three of them headed out to the parking lot where Tom's blue Mustang was parked.

"the frontseat is mine!" Stacey said outloud and ran over to the car. She really felt as if she was free now, a heavy weight lifted off her shoulder now that they were safe, and now that there was going to be a way out of the hell called living on the street. She felt like a regular 16 year old

Tom smirked and got in on the drivers seat, while Sera got comfortable on the backseat. "Cool car." Sera commented from the backseat, while she put on her seatbelt (they were driving with a cop, after all ). She sat on something soft and fluffy, and frowned as she pulled a teddybear from inbetween the cushions of the seat. "Uhhh Tooomm..." She grinned teasingly. "Did you lose something?" Tom checked the rear mirror and groaned, "That's Doug's." He claimed. "You're too supercute." Sera laughed at him.

Stacey laughed "I didn't know you collected teddybears! You don't seem like that type" she grinned broadly

Tom smirked, "I don't seem the type for a lot of things. You fell for the homeless kid act too, didn't ya?"

"Yes, but that is.. tough-ish and .. teddybears are girly and far from cool" She smirked and observed him. He did seem a bit more feminine.. or more pretty-boyish than other guys she had met, perhaps he was one of those homosexuals, they were into feminine stuff too,she knew.

Tom couldn't help but laugh, "Okay, okay.. In my defence, I think Teddy belongs to my niece. I had a family dinner last week and she played hide and seek in my car." ...Not that they'd believe that now, probably. So yeah. Great. Two girls in his car and he has an suspicious looking stuffed animal laying there.

"Riiiight, and you only took 5 minutes to come up with that explanation" she laughed "How stupid do you think we are? Forget about the fluffy pink decoration, its gonna be Teddybear wallpaper now!"

Tom groaned at both her lack of trust in his explanation and the prospect of their decoration plans. "God, spare me." They got to their destination by now. For the sake of convenience, Tom had phoned Sal/Blowfish before they left the Jumpstreet chapel (...yes, I didn't post that, but it happened between the lines. ) So Sal had agreed to drop Tom's stuff off with his pick-up truck, and he was already waiting for them there when they arrived.

Stacey followed Tom and Sera up to the second floor, towards Tom's apartment. She glanced at Sal, whom she thought looked familiar 'Does he work at the station too? Is he a copper?" she asked Tom.
