Alex put up her sword for now as she fixed the chains in her pockets so they wouldn't fall out with her moving around so much. She took the stairs to the next house two at a time, kicking open the door and letting it swing back on it's hinges with a groan of old rusting metal. She frowned right away as the place seemed to be a total dump, "Damn, poor bastards." She snarled softly.

Lucy gasped quietly as the frontdoor upstairs swung opened and Thomas quietly tried to open the backdoor as he held Lucy with his other arm. The door wouldn't move. He tried again but figured that parts of the house beside theirs must've fallen apart due to the cannonfire at it and blocked the backdoor with the remainings. "Shit..!" he cursed quietly and then whispered to Lucy to go and hide underneath the stair and he did the same.

Alex turned over a few desks and cabinets as she prowled around looking for anything worse stealing. She turned, about to give up, but her eyes caught the cellar door. Ah, so that must be where you hide yer fortunes." She walked over and pulled the pistol off her belt and cocked it before kicking that door open as well.

Lucy was hiding in Thomas embrace and was shaking with fear. This stress is not good for my baby!
Thomas clenched his hand tighter around the handle of the little knife and kept his eyes gazing upwards

Alex grinned a bit as she heard the heavy breathings coming from below. She'd been a pirate long enough to be able to pick out and sense the fear in someone. "Come out, come out, wherever you are." She fired a shot into the dark, "Or I'll just have to shoot everythin' in 'ere."

Lucy started crying, held her hands on her stomache and pushed against Thomas who still muffled her mouth with his hand. He had no clue what to do. If he jumped out of the hiding place he would have to confront the pirate and that pirate had a gun and he had not. He didn't want to leave Lucy's side though so he stayed there, hoping they wouldn't get caught

Alex growled and shot again, but this time downwards towards the stairs below her. "I said come out!" She snarled.

The bullet almost hit Lucy in her leg and she gasped terrified. Thomas swallowed hard, kissed Lucy on her forehead and put his indexfinger to his mouth, showing her to be quiet and he quietly made his way out from underneath the stairs. He straightened up, changed his grip around the knife and looked up at the pirate standing on the staircase

Alex's eyes flitted to him and she grinned, "Ah, I knew you were hidin' down there." She pointed her pistol at him, "Drop that petty thing, why dun you?" She nodded to the knife she could tell he was holding.

Thomas didn't let go of the knife. He held a steady gaze at the pirate and said: "I don't have anything you'd want here...I own nothing of value...you're not making any success in this house..might aswell just leave"
