I pause at that.. "He's rather young." Is all I have to say, feeling a little useless to stop them anyway. Louis almost has as much power against me as his father."No, no.. Mother. I am a man!" He declares .

I glance at Louis. "Yes, I suppose he is still young," "No! Papa! Please!" "Maybe we could try him this once," I say, which gains a little cheer from Louis. I smile a little at him.
"Hunting is such an obscene sport," I mumble.

"Hunting is a man's sport." I correct her, "And one I would expect you to understand, dear."
I stare over at the man, wondering whether he's being rude or simpley... stating a fact.

"And shopping is a womans sport," I smirk. "One I happen to be very good at,"

"A skill in spending a Man's pocket is not a wise one." I mutter.

"I takes more skill than shooting at defenseless animals," I say, forgetting about the company. "And we're married, as you seem to have forgotten, you're money is my money,"
I raise my fist to my mouth and cough lightly, reminding the couple of our presence.

I can feel my cheeks blushing as their banter continues and the maids come to serve our main course.. sometimes I don't realise how lucky I am with my Husband.
I give her an unimpressed glare, deciding to end this before it grows worse.

I smirk a little at my wife's pink cheeks, she does look beautiful when she's embarressed.
I watch the french couple over the table, the way they look at each other makes me very jealous. I wish just once Edward would look at me that way. I look down at my meal and eat silently.

I give him a breif smile when I notice him looking at me and then begin to eat again.

We eat the rest of the meal in silence. When I see they've finished I call the maids over to clear the table, not bothering to wait for Edward to finish.
I stand when the Lady of the house stands.
I nod at him with a slight smile. "Jane, take the girl down to the stables. We will leave for the market in an hour,"
