Sadie was not surprised when she saw Jack leave with the woman that she had seen him with earlier. She went on filling empty mugs for the few costomers left at the bar before going over to clean off Jacks table. Once she finally made it over there she seen the pouch and hesitantly picked it up. Slowly opening it she was beyoned shocked at what she saw. At first she didn't know what to think, then she finally realized that he must have forgot it. 'Jack Sparrow's not one to pay for ANYTHING let alone just give away money' She looked around for a moment to see if anyone else had noticed the pouch then shoved it in her pocket and went on with her work. 'I'll have ta get it back ta 'im, I wouldn't feel right keepin' it. He'll fersure be kickin' himself in the arse in the mornin' once he sees he fergot it'
Dawn was rolling around and the bar was long closed but she had stayed awhile with some of the girls she worked with. It was their turn to relax and have a few drinks. Somehow she couldn't get the pouch of money off her mind. She didn't even know how much it was, she couldn't bring herself to count, the more money there would be, the more tempted she'd get to keep it. There was still one thing she couldn't understand, it wasn't like Jack to forget somthing like that.
It was about 10 when the girls started leaving, Sadie said her good-byes and made her way to the door. She decided to take a walk down by the docks to see if she could spot the pearl. She'd never actually seen it in person but she was sure of one thing, "Black sails" she wispered to herself. Soon enough she spoted it and seen Jack and his crew already up and getting ready to set sail. She rain down the dock untill she came in shouting distance from the Black Pearl and where Jack was standing at the helm. "JACK!!" she yelled cupping her hands around her mouth. "I think ye fergot s'mthin' lastnight at the tavern!" Not getting into details, she didn't like when people knew she had money on her.

At the sound of his name being called, Jack turned in a wide arc, facing the docks and squinting his eyes to see the figure of Sadie standing right there. "You'll excuse me." He told the crewmembers nearby, before he swaggered his way over to the gangplank. In a few second later, he stood at her side, glancing down at her with a look of curiosity.
"Love, such a lady as yerselves knows she ought not go so close to the docks. Tis a rougher part of town, it is. Worse than the taverns, I've heard.” He spoke on a conversational tone, but a light of amusement played in his eyes.

She put her hand on her hip and shifted her weight to her left foot to say, "Jack, I've lived 'ere me whole life, I know what I'm doin'." She didn't give him a chance to reply before she went on, "I think ye fergot s'mthin' lastnight" She raised her brow then pulled the pouch out of her pocket and tossed it to him. "Now I coulda kept it, like anyone else 'round 'ere would'a, but I came all the way down here to get it back to ye." She told him playfully. Then her voice changed to almost a whisper, "Theres alot of money in there, Jack" Leaning a bit closer to him as she said it.

The curious look on his face turned to an amused one, and one corner of his lip twitched slightly in a lopsided grin. "I was aware of that, darlin'." He whispered back in the same conspiricy-like tone she had used on him. He tossed the pouch up and caught it in his palm again, testing the weight of it. "Franky, I thought ye'd keep it without questioning. Surely, I never quite bother with being noble.. So this rare case should've been one to treasure dearly. But even if I had merely forgotten it.. I thought you wouldn't be as noble as to return it." He smirked, implying he had left it there on purpose.

After taking a moment to think about what he had said she finally realized that he did, infact, leave the money for her. She smurked a bit then decided to tease him about it, "Jack Sparrow, ye do 'ave a heart." She chuckled at her own joke then went on, "Yer so lucky, I wish I could have the freedom ye do." Even though she knew it was just a dream, she thought maybe there was a way she could convince him to let her join his crew, she was just unsure how she'd go about it.

He gave her a goldtoothed grin, which reached as far as his eyes which twinkled knowingly. "Everyone has the freedom I have, luv. Most people don't use it to their best interest though." His gaze went to his Pearl - his freedom, while the crewmembers aboard were still working to prepare the ship for their departure. Supplies were being carried aboard in barrels and crates. The activity reminded most of an ants nest, anticipating and preparing for something in the near future. Truth was, Jack couldn't wait to get his feet off land again.
He'd half forgotten the lass in front of him, but as he turned back to gaze at her, he was surprised to still find her there.

Watching him get lost in his thoughts, Sadie got lost in her own. There was no way she could talk him into it, he was to good with words and she knew it. He'd do anything to keep a woman off his ship 'they bring bad luck' He's said a number of times. She looked to the pearl, pictureing herself as a part of the crew, sailing on the open seas. She knew it was alot of work, but if she had the chance she'd be good at it. Sadie was much more determined and stronger than most other women. Finally she broke herself from her thoughts to say, "So what'd ye intend I do, I'm stuck on this godforsaken rock." With that she put her hand on her forehead to block her eyes from the sun and wait for his answer.

"Ye would've been a clever one if ye'd taken what was given to you without asking, for starters." Jack told her with a smirk, still playing with the pouch he was now referring to in his hand. "Could've bought ye a passage off, if tha's what yer after. But seeing as ye found it appropriate to return it, be it inappropriately appropriate or not, I suppose yer off t' a bad start." He narrowed his eyes as he regarded her further, “Unfortunately for ye, sweet, I’m awfully busy this morning. So I'm afraid ye'll have to explore yer further options by yer onesies. Savvy?"

She pursed her lips and thought for a moment, this was her last chance to convince him to let her join his crew. It was now or never, but how? She knew he was right, she should have just kept the money, there was no fighting that one. Finally, she just came out with it, "Jack let me join yer crew, Please, I can cook.." she looked up at the ratlines and went on "Ima good climber and a fast learner, ye wouldn't regret it." She was desperate and knew she'd do almost anything to get on that ship.

"I'm sure ye can, and I'm sure ye are luv, but I'm not as sure I wouldn't." He answered to all she said. "Besides, we have one who can cook—not well, mind you, but he does cook occasionally, and he hardly ever tries to poison us." He shrugged, "A lass aboard is asking for the Devil's wrath, according to popular belief. And I'm sure you could find a better, safer passage from Tortuga than on a pirate ship."
