Sadies eyes snapped open at the sound of his voice. She could sence the amusement in his tone and decided to play along. "I should be askin' ya the same question." She said with a smirk, knowing he wouldn't be able to see it, with it being so dark in the room. "But nah, I don'." She confirmed.

"Good, good." Jack smirked and turned on his side, getting comfortable. "I would have to throw ye off me ship after all if ye did."

"I didn't?" Jack managed to sound genuinely surprised by that fact. "Ah. Well, luv. Rest assured, I never had any complaints before." He smirked.

Sadie curled up one side of her upper lip, realizing that it wasn't really an answer, but she came to the concluion that it was the closest thing to an answer she'd get. Getting serious this time she said "Jack, I'm really sorry."

Jack turned his gaze to where she was, but he could only vaguely see the silouette of the hammock in the dark. "Good." He just told her.

By morning, Jack was long gone from the cabin. His hat still sat on the desk and his coat hung over the chair, but he himself was nowhere in sight. He'd left the cabin by sunset, so he stood at the helm now - one of the first to be updecks.

Sadie slowly sat up and tried getting out of the hammock without falling. She lost her balance, but only for a moment. She rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand then made her way on deck, surprised to see that there was only very few people up. Before making it up to the helm to talk to Jack she walked to the side and amired the horizon for a while.

Some crewmembers were working nearby though, and when Sadie got in the way of things they cursed at her and told her to piss off. Jack, who observed the situation from the helm, smirked slightly.
