Sadie gave them a dirty look and mumbled a few cuss at them. It came as no suprized to her that they treated her that way, having delt with pirates her whole life. She then walked up to where Jack was standing at the helm, she didn't let the other pirates bring down her high spirit. Insted she approched Jack with a smile and said "'ny thin' ye'd like me to do today?"

"Aye," Jack said, before he even thought of a task for her. She was going to work her way to the next port, after all, so no doubt about it she could make herselves usefull. "...Ye can swab the deck." He decided.

"Aye cap'n." She said without a complaint and went below deck to find everything she needed then returned above deck to get started.
She did her best to ignore the crew members smart comments untill one short, scrawnny man grabbed her behind. She couldn't control her anger any longer, she cocked her fist back and punched him in the jaw as hard as she could. She watched as he fell backwards, landing on his butt. Sadie knew Jack would probably be pissed off at her, but she wasn't about to let anyone walk all over her.

Jack's gaze darted to the commotion on the main deck, just in time to see Sadie land an impressive punch on one of his crewmembers. The man, who fell back and started cursing loudly, pretty much demanded the attention of every one of the crew. In turn, they started glaring at Sadie. ...That girl has one hell of a punch. Jack thought. His musings were interupted though.. when one of the crewmembers drew a sword and pointed it at the girl. "..Not good." Jack murmered. To quick for anyone to react, he found his way to the deck and stood inbetween Sadie and the fellow before this could turn into a more serious fight.
"Ye don't want t' be doin' tha', mate." "...Why the hell not!" The crewmember snarled. "Because I'll have no unneccesary bloodspill on my Pearl." Jack spoke calmly. "Makes the deck messy, ye see. And blood is damn hard to get off the wood. Especially when it's the deckswabber who's bleedin'." He paused. "Put it away, get back to work." It worked, it did. The crewmember growled, but sheated his sword and stalked off. And within time the rest of them turned their gazes away again.. getting back to work.

Sadie jumped back as the man pulled out a sword, she looked around to see if she could find anything to grab to protect herself..No luck. 'Shit' she thought, then seen Jack come between them.
She watched as everyone went back to work then turned to Jack. "Cap'n I'm sorry, but I gatta stand up fer meself ya know?" she said hoping he'd understand.

Jack turned to face her, narrowing his eyes. "Ye don't go around punchin' me crew, missy. Next time I might not be there to intervene. Savvy?"

"Aye cap'n but..." she stoped herself knowing that the worse thing to do would be to argue with him. "Right" she said in almost a whisper then went back to her work.

Jack observed her for a little while longer, before he returned to the helm with that frown still on his features. A woman aboard would eventually mean trouble.. he knew it. He just hoped it hadn't begun alredy.

Sadie went on about her work, ignoring all the comments the crew made, now they were more ignorant then before, but she couldn't start anymore trouble. Within time she had finished her work and returned the bucket and whatnot below deck then returned. She looked up in the sky, noticing it was getting dark. She approched Jack "Is there a storm comming?" She asked, still looking in the sky

"Probably." He told her. He'd been watching the sky for a while now. The thick clouds had developed over the hours, and it didn't look like it was going to pass them by. Jack wasn't too worried. He'd had his share of storms, and the Pearl had always proven herself in surviving them. "Tis gonna be rough, probably. These storms don't happen often, but when they blow, they blow convincingly." He warned Sadie.
