Captain Jack moved back a step. "Aye but what be the point in raising the Pearl if the person ment to captain it doesn't get the chance to do said captaining?" he asked. He thought of something that would get him quite a bit of time to think of a way out of this. Joanna waited as Jack and Davy Jones made a deal. She tried to listen to the conversation until Barbossa caught her.
"How long does it take to make a deal?" she asked.
Her question was answered when she saw Davy Jones going back to his ship. Joanna saw Jack coming onto the deck.
"What happened?"she asked.

bic: Captain Jack knew that if he told them too much they would all start to panic so he decided to spare them any details. "not much" he lied "just simple negotiations" he was hoping they wouldn't ask any more.

Joanna was feeling a little sad. It's been almost a year since her family died. Joanna held Jack the monkey close as she started thinking. She wanted to do something for her family. She climbed out of the crow's nest and went to see Jack Sparrow.
"Sir, I hate to bother you with anything, but can we please go to Tortuga?" she asked him.

Captain Jack thought about it. They were running a little low on supplies and he quite enjoyed Tortuga. "Why?" he asked wondering why she'd suggest this.

She wasn't in the mood to explain why. She hoped Jack wouldn't ask why she wanted to go.

Captain Jack nodded. "Seeing as we'll need to make port anyway I don't see any reason why we should not go to Tortuga" He didn't really want to go to a navy infested port anyway.

She went on deck to tell Barbossa they were going to Tortuga. She also told him her reason for asking.
"When we get there, can you please come with me?" she asked him. "I don't want to be alone."
