bic Barbossa Jumped in the water after hearing Joannas screams. He grabbed her and pulled her out of the water. He knew Jack would be mad Joanna fell overbored and even more so that he risked his own life to save hers. She spit some water that was in her lungs and woke up. "Wuss in yer head? Ya know the cap'n's not gunna be happy with either of us." He said.

[Barbossa's girl]

Joanna opened her eyes and saw Barbossa leaning over her. He did not look very happy. Tears formed in her eyes.

"Hector, I'm sorry!" Joanna cried. "I'm so sorry! I didn't mean for it to happen!"

She started shivering. She was cold. Joanna sneezed.

[Lisa]

He whipped the tears from her eyes. "Don't let them see ya cry, they'll think your weak. Be strong. It's ok, I'm not mad." He told her then took her below deck and wrapped her in a blanket. "Stay 'ere, I'll find ye some dry cloths." he told her and walked away. He went Marty, whom is a midget and asked him for a pair of trousers and a shirt and brought it back to Joanna. "Here, these should do."

[Barbossa's girl]

"Thank you", Joanna said.

She changed into some warm, dry clothes. She went up on deck. Before she went anywhere else, she turned to Barbossa.

"Thank you for saving me, Hector", she said a little shy.

Joanna climbed back into the crow's nest. She started blushing when she thought about how Barbossa saved her. No one had ever done anything like that for her. Joanna was going to like being around Barbossa.

bic: "aye, Jus be carfull" He said with a wink. He watched as she climbed in the crows nest. He was surprised at how good she was doing on the ship. Most young girls would be able to handle things like this. There was a fire in her he liked, she was much like himself.

Joanna sat in the crow's nest. She's been on the Black Pearl for nearly a week. Barbossa never mentioned her little accident to Jack, which they were both grateful for. She started thinking. She was now a pirate like her father was. Joanna thought she would be happy about it. Why was she feeling sad? Joanna sighed as her thoughtswent through her head.

[Lisa]

Barbossa got done with his work fast, as always, so he climbed up to the cows nest to see how Joanna was holding up. He noticed a trubled look on her face. "wuss wrong?' he asked as he climbed in the crows nest, next to her.

ooc: i don't mind. what matters if i'm able to read it and understand it.

"I don't know", Joanna said. "My father used to be a pirate. When he met my mother, he quit. I always thought I'd be happy to become a pirate like him. I'm a pirate, but I'm not happy about it. I like being one. I'm just not happy. I guess it's because being a pirate got my father killed."

Joanna sighed as she looked up at the stars.

"My mother used to tell me if I'm ever feeling sad to look up at the stars. They make me feel a little better."

Joanna smiled a little as she looked at Barbossa.

"Do pirates ever celebrate things?" she asked.

ooc: lol yea i wont get that drunk or I wouldn't be on here.
bic:Babossa listened to her but didn't know what to say to make her feel better. He chuckled at her comment. "Aye.. well, we're on our way to Tortuga, theres always a celebration there." He said. "Why, what did ye wanna celebrate?" He asked.
