Captain Jack was looking around trying to think of an excuse. He thought of one "It's your birthday?" he asked "I had no idea. Happy birthday dearie." He took a swig of rum and started for the door.

Joanna just stood there as she saw Jack walk away. It seemed as if he didn't really care about her. Joanna started to think that she wasn't going to like Jack very much. She went back to her hamock and went to sleep.

Joanna stood in the crow's nest admiring her new pistol. She really liked it. She noticed something moving on the horizon. She pulled out the spyglass and took a look. Joanna saw another ship. She saw it flying an EITC flag.
"Captain! There's another ship coming towards us! There's a flag that has a EIC on it!"

When Captain Jack heard what Joanna said he walked up on deck and started giving orders to his crew to get ready for an attack. The men started loading the cannons and getting their weapons.

Joanna felt a little scared. She climbed out of the crow's nest and pulled out her pistol. She didn't know what to do. She ran over to Barbossa.
"Hector, am I going to fight?" she asked. "I'm scared."

Barbossa was getting his weapons ready, and giving a few orders aswell. "Well, ya may go bellow deck if ya like, but ye'll never learn nothin' if ye hide from yer problems." He told her.

Joanna watched as everyone started fighting. She didn't know what to do. She watched Barbossa fight someone. Joanna saw another person sneak up from behind him. She gasped when she saw who it was. It was the same man that killed her family in Tortuga.
"No!" Joanna yelled.
She jumped on his back to try to stop him from hurting Barbossa.
"You took away everyone I cared about! I won't let you do it again!"
Joanna tried to get her pistol. The man threw her off. Joanna hit her head knocking her out.

Barbossa stabbed the man he was fighting with his sword, then turned around and shot the other man right in his forhead. He then ordered one of the crew members to take Joanna bellow deck untill the battle was over. He was begining to worry that she couldn't handle herself abored a pirate ship.

When Joanna woke up, everything was quiet. She tried to remember what happened.
"Hector!" she said.
She looked around and saw him.
"Hector, are you alright? Did they hurt you?"

bic: Barbossa sat forward in his chair. He looked down at his feet for a moment searching for the best words, then looked back up at her. "Joanna, the crew 'nd cap'n, meanin' me as well, fear that yer havin' a hard time takin' care of yerself abored the Pearl. We're worried yer not only puttin' yerself in danger, but the rest of the crew as well. We've lost enough men today 'nd we can't aford ta lose 'nemore." He could tell she was chooking back tears, but remembered telling her to stay stong, and she was doing a good job at that. Regardless of how hard it was he forced himself to go on. "Cap'n Jack.." He cringed his teeth at being forced to call him that, then went on. "..sent me ta tell ye that he thinks it'd be in yer best intrest, 'nd the crews as well, if ye return to Tortuga, or the closest port of yer choice." He ran his hand over the back of his kneck. He felt bad for the young girl, and cared for her very much, but agreed with Jack and every word he had just said to Joanna.
ooc: Just so you guys know, tomarrow night I won't be on past like 7:30 :-( . I'm Going out for the game and probablly wont be home untill really late, or the next day ;D .

Tears formed in Joanna's eyes.
"You all want me to leave?" she cried. "But I don't have anywhere to go. This is my home."
She wrapped her arms around Barbossa.
"I don't want to leave you, Hector. You're my best friend."
