Barbossa handed her his gift. It was her first pistol, and he was the only one who actually took the time to wrap their gift. "I thought ye might need it." He said as she opened it.

Joanna gasped as she opened her gift.
"Oh, Hector", she said. "It's wonderful. Thank you so much!"
She wrapped her arms around him in a hug. She stopped because she remembered the whole crew was there. She pulled away, blushing furiously.

Barbossa smiled and hugged her back. "Ya like it?" he asked, even though he could tell she did.

"I love it", Joanna said as she tucked it away.
"You're such a good friend", she told him. "Thanks for the birthday, everyone. I'm going to sleep."
Joanna left the room and went to her hamock below deck. She couldn't believe that Barbossa would take the time to arrange a party for her and give her a gift. He was her best friend.

Barbossa was so happy she enjoyed herself, and his gift. He went to bed himself and fell asleep with a smile om his face.

ooc: lol sorry I was giving you guys time to write in all that relationship building stuff!  lol I'll jump in now! bic:Captain Jack heard about the celebration but knew that it probably wouldn't be much to talk about. He was working with a map, trying to get the fastest course to their next destination. He went to take a swig of rum, but the bottle was empty. "why is the rum always gone" he said to himself. He got up and went to get another bottle. |

ooc: that's so obivious for jack to get rum like that Joanna woke up in the middle of the night. She started getting thirsty. She went to go get herself a bottle of rum. When she got there, she saw somebody else there. She screamed out of surprise. When that person came closer to her, Joanna felt relieved when she saw it was just Jack. "Sorry for screaming", she said. "You scared me." Joanna grabbed a rum bottle off the shelf. "So you just came down here for rum, too?" she asked . |

Captain Jack made a strange face when he saw Joanna. "I should ask you the same question" he said. He didn't figure her to be a rum drinker.

Joanna took a sip of rum.
"So where were you tonight?" she asked. "We all celebrated my birthday. I didn't see you."
