Quinn moved her hand and placed it against his chest. "At least it proves you have one," Then suddenly, she stepped closer and pressed her lips to his, after he genuinely seemed like he cared and wasn't just trying to get himself a personal-wench aboard his ship. She kissed him softly, taking in the taste of salt and rum, ignoring the sting in her lips.
Quinn pulled back after a moment, realising what she was doing. She put her hand to her mouth as her cheeks burned bright red. She turned back to the bar, suddenly intently interested in her drink. "Yes, I can cook," Quinn said with a smile on her lips that she couldn't hide.

Jack's brows lofted as Quinn kissed him, as he was not expecting the action in the least. Not that he minded it entirely, however. In fact he returned the kiss lightly, careful to not bump her split lip.
As she pulled back he couldn't help but grin as well, clearing his throat somewhat awkwardly before speaking. "Glad to have you with us then, Miss Quinn."

Quinn's cheeked flushed an even deeper red. "Glad to be with you, Captain," She said quietly. "I'll ... I'll go and fetch my things when my father is asleep. Would you ..." She paused. "No, nevermind, you have more important things to do,"

Jack sobered slightly, though inwardly he was still a bit distracted by the kiss. Most definitely not what he was expecting. "What do you need, love?" he asked, his eyes curious as Quinn cut herself off. "I've got some time before I need to get back to the Pearl..." he offered, letting the sentence hang.

"Would you come with me?" Quinn asked. "Just incase he wakes up and finds me leaving ..." She glanced up at Jack. "You don't have to if you don't want to."

"No, I'll come," he replied softly, a frown of concern coming over his face. He knew that now, since they had come to an agreement about her escaping and working on his ship, it was time to actually execute the plan - and that was going to be the hardest part of it all if said father were to find out before the Pearl could depart. And he did not want to be responsible for her having to endure another beating, or worse. "Don't worry 'bout a thing, okay?" he asked, managing a brief smile.

"Thank you," Quinn smiled, "I owe you my life, Captain," She told him softly with another smile. "Give him another hour and he'll be in a drunken stupor. So until then, can I buy you another drink?" She offered.

"No worries. An' you just make a decent meal to fill our stomachs and me and me crew will be happy as a clam," Jack assured her with a smile. He then gave an enthused nod. "Aye, I'd love another. Thank you. Jus' don't spill it in me lap, eh?" he then added with a grin.

Quinn called the barman over and ordered two more drinks of rum. When he brought them across, Quinn handed across a few more coins, her fathers money, she wouldn't have to worry about that anymore. She picked up her drink and nodded to a small table for two, before walking across and sitting down. "Tell me about yourself, Captain, you already know far too much about me," She said with a slight smile.

Jack followed Quinn over to the table, weaving his way through a group of drunkards. He took a seat across from her, then took a sip of his rum before setting the tankard on the table and leaning back in his chair. He gave a slight grin, a dark brow lofting below his bandanna. "Well what would you like to know, love? Mos' people already know a lot about me before I even know their names...which can be both a blessing and a curse. Despite what they say though, I'm just a pirate in love with the sea."
