Bailey smirked a little, taking his money out of his pocket and turning it over in the palm of his hand. "That's very reasonable of you, I won't argue with that price," He passed five shilling across the table to her and waved across a barmaid to take their order

I take them and add them into my pocket again, "So when do you set sail?" I wonder, "Very soon, I'd imagine. Jack doesn't stick around in one place for very long." My eyes linger on him as we sit there, even when the barmaid comes over to order our drinks and he pays for the two rum bottles. There is something quite peculiar about him, something unusual. It's probably because he's not a complete brute, or at least pretends not to be. But that's quite pleasant, even if he's hiding something. He's also probably the first sailor I've met here that I wouldn't mind fooling around with a little, but from the way he's acting, it seems very unlikely he expects that.

"Sparrow said to go sign up in the morning, that's all I know," Bailey shrugged a little, tipping the rum bottle to his lips and taking a long, refreshing swig. "I hope he decides to hang around for a little while longer at least, I'm quite enjoying myself here," He smirked, keeping his eyes on Cleo.

"It's all good, love," he replied. "We were all starting out once too, at some point or another. Tis' nothin' to be ashamed of. An' I'm overjoyed to hear it. If you can make some more of that bread sometime, you'd make my day. It was quite good."

I look him over, slowly and then let our eyes meet as we talk, "Enjoying yourself." I repeat, grinning, finding it quite amusing that he finds just sitting here with me more enjoyable than what he could be doing, "You really are strange, for a sailor, anyway. Most of them are so desperate for female company after all that time at sea, and you're just happy to make conversation?"

Quinn smirked a little, "If you have the right supplies on board, it'll be my pleasure to make you as much bread as you like,"
Bailey grinned, slowly running his fingers across his chin. "No, I don't swing both ways," He laughed, then shrugged. "I've been in town for almost a week now, I've had my fill of cheap wenches. Is there anything wrong with wanting some decent conversation for once?" Besides, this girl fascinated him too much to scare her off by coming onto her too strongly. He wasn't ashamed to say he actually liked her. He certainly wasn't going to push it.

"If you find my conversation decent, good enough, but I just start to think you don't find me attractive. Or maybe I'm just caught in some Tortugan-dellusion in which when a man would rather talk than anything other, he's quite repelled by said-lady." I clarify, swigging my rum aswell.

Jack leaned forward, his elbows resting against the edge of the table and a smirk on his face. "You'd be amazed at what - or who - you can find in the bowels of that ship. Half the time I don't even know what we're carrying to be honest, so I wouldn't be surprised if there wasn't some giant oven for you to use."

Quinn laughed, "Well I meant things a bit more simple than that - yeast, flour ... but yes, that would be helpful too," She grinned.
Bailey's eyebrow shot up at her being so open. At least he didn't have to worry about scaring her off then. He took another swig of rum and stood up. He walked around the table, and leaned over her, one hand resting on the back of the chair, the other moved to her cheek. He kissed her. "I find you very attractive," He mumbled against her lips, before deepening the kiss.

Right. This was the sort of reaction I was expecting without any.. prompting. I kiss him back for a moment, and then look at him again when it ends, "Oh.. that's good to know then." I smirk, "My.. mind is quite at ease now."
