"Right," Jack replied, grinning through his slight embarrassment as he shifted in his seat. "Of course. I knew that. I'm sure we have that too."

Quinn laughed, running her fingers through her hair, twirling it around her fingers idylly. "I can cook things other than bread too. I'll see what I can cook up depending on what you have in your hold," She smiled. "I'm sure I'll be able to manage a different meal everyday for at least a week or two ... without resorting to human meat," She said, rather seriously before cracking into another grin.
Bailey laughed a little, embarrassed that she needed to be so blunt before he dared move forward. Not anymore. He took her hand and pulled her to her feet, wrapping one arm around her waist and holding her body against his. "Now that's cleared up, what do you say to getting a couple more bottles to keep us going, and heading upstairs for a bit more privacy," He mumbled, moving his lips to her neck and softly kissing her skin.

Jack's eyes went wide for a moment and his brows shot up before Quinn started to grin, and he almost believed she was telling the truth. He shook his head. "Then you and Juan should get along together fantastically," he joked in return. "Until he wants to make you lunch. Literally."

"This is certainly more what I was expecting." I tell him, quite enjoying being held by a man that doesn't smell like a complete pig.. "Tell y' what though, lets go back to my place, it isn't quite as digusting as the rooms in places like these."

Quinn giggled, "That wouldn't happen. I'm sure you'd never let him eat a woman. Although Juan sounds like a fat-man name, I'm sure he'd make a few lunches himself," She giggled again, quite enjoying the playful banter.
Bailey grinned against her skin, using that as his answer. "I'll get us some more drinks," He kissed her skin again, then lightly bit her pale neck in a playful manner. He let go of her with a wink and walked across to the bar and ordered two large bottles of rum.

"Hmm." I mumble to myself as I watch him go back to the bar. This is extremely interesting. Seeing as it's just a casual encounter, and he'll be off again tomorrow, I may as well make the most of it. As I decide this, I notice a bit of a fight break out at the other end of the tavern. Never a good sign.

"Indeed," Jack agreed. "I wouldn't let him get you...some of the rest of the crew though, that's a different story," he smiled. His tone was light, though something in his voice might have let her know that he wasn't quite kidding when it came to certain people. "Juan isn't too big of a man - after all, I can't be hauling people who are going to sink my ship. But he is bigger than me, for sure. I don't think that he would taste good though, should he be divvied up into the food. Probably like grease, I'd imagine." He made a disgusted face at the thought.

"Seasoning," Quinn giggled again. "I could manage that," She grinned.
Bailey came back moments later, holding the two bottles in one hand, the other he put around her shoulders as they walked through the bar. He subconsciously pulled her closer as they walked past the fight, protectively. "Where do you live?" He asked as they left the tavern.

Jack leaned closer in a conspiratorial sort of fashion, his voice soft. He was smirking. "That's why the bread tasted so good, isn't it. That's your secret, eh?"

Quinn giggled again, covering her mouth with her hands. "You found me out," She joked, taking another sip of her rum. "Let's take a slow walk to my father's place," She suggested, "You must be in need of some fresh air by now," She grinned, standing up and waiting for him to join her.
