I smile as we step outside at the precise moment the bar fight starts up..."A few streets away." I nod in the right direction, and we continue to walk, "So, you never quite told me before, what got you into all this piracy-mess."

Bailey turned his nose up at the question, rubbing the back of his hand across his mouth as they walked. "Now that's a long and uninteresting story," He told her. "Save it for another day," He smirked a little, considering he was most likely leaving tomorrow.

I smirk as well, also realising this. I don't decide to push it, though, I know what it's like to have a complicated background. "Aye, alright then." I tell him, "Ye can tell me whenever you next find yourself in Tortuga. I'm not going anywhere, anytime soon."

Jack grinned as well, as he stood. Indeed, he had been in the tavern for quite some time, and despite the fact that the tavern was where the rum was, he was eager to get outside and enjoy the day. He finished the last bit of his drink, set the empty tankard on the table and then followed Quinn outside. He squinted once he was in the sun, its heat beating into his skin. "Where do you live, love?" he wondered as he turned to face the woman.

"This way," Quinn pointed across the town, slipping her arm threw Jack's as they walked with a slight grin.
"Perhaps you should," Bailey said, "If you'd ever like a life at sea, I can always come and fetch you, when I'm Captain," He smirked, not entirely joking.

"Now don't go messing with a poor girls hopes." I joke, "I'm quite fine here.. I think I'd feel.. uneasy anywhere else." I tell him, looking from him to the street ahead, and when I do I spot a couple in the distance.. Jack, and a little blonde girl.

Nodding, Jack gave a faint smile as Quinn threaded her arm through his. "We better part before we get to your house," he warned gently, waving his free hand towards where they were linked. "I wouldn't want to anger your father before I have even had a chance to explain myself, should he be up and coherent. Though I'm sure he'll be as angry as a sea storm once he realizes you've left. Just blame it on those bloody pirates, eh?" he grinned as he glanced her way.

Quinn smiled a little in return, "He won't be. He's never awake past 7pm. He'll be out until midday tomorrow," She promised.
"Should you ever change your mind, the offers always open," Bailey said with a slight smirk. He followed her gaze to Jack in the distance and turned his nose up. "Let's go this way," He joked, pointing in the opposite direction, but he knew it was too late to change course without it looking terribly rude, and he didn't want Jack thinking badly of him ... yet.

"Aye," Jack responded softly, hoping that was indeed the case. He was silent a moment, his gaze scanning the surrounding town - and then he spotted Bailey and the map-maker a ways up the road. The aristocrat pirate was looking his way.
"What luck," Jack mumbled to himself under his breath. He looked to Quinn. "I need to have a word with those two over there, that alright?"

I laugh and drag him back into place as Jack begins ti approach us, and we approach him in return, "Good evening, Captain."
