"Me? Navy? No. Far from it. Despite appearances, I can be rather fierce and ruthless when required, I'll admit," Bailey smirked a little, "But yes, I wouldn't like all that long, wild hair and facial scruff, I tried it once, it wasn't a good look for me," He couldn't help but laugh, running a hand over the very light one-day old stubble on his chin. "And it works in my favour, people always presume because I look like a high-class citizen, I am one so it's good for blending into towns that aren't pirate friendly, and surprises the enemy. Look at Sparrow for instance," He pointed a finger across the bar. "The mans an imbecile, stands out like a sore thumb. All he need is a fog horn to announce his arrival and 'pirate' tattooed on his forehead,"

"I don't know where you find the bother, though. I gave up trying to look presentable a while back. Though I suppose I don't mind blending in around here. It makes it easier when you live in a place like this, at least." I explain.

"You look perfectly presentable to me, at least," Bailey gave her a smile. "I find it's no bother, I find I'm never fighting for the sink and mirror on pirate ships at least," He joked. "Although I did receive some severe mocking back when I was still working my way up the ranks,"

I grin a little, "I suppose a few men would say that it's not very manly of you to do so. I've met a few men like you, and they always seem to be on the strange side, you know.. the type who will take a lady for a drink and not want for anything more." I suggest, quite interested really, "And then go after a man instead." I gesture to Jack.

Bailey's eyebrow shot up at the suggestion. "Sparrow's not my type," He smirked a little and leaned across the table, closer to her. "Why? Do you want me to want more from you?" He asked, turning her shocking interest around.

"Oh I see. You swing both ways." I smirk even more, leaning forward too, "You're decent enough, I'll give you that. But it's not even noon yet, and I have a living to make, so this is a drink, and I'll leave you to your piractical activity, I asure you that it'll be a lot more thrilling."

"Hm," Bailey smirked, folding his hands together in front of you. "So you have a living to make, and it's not even noon." He repeated. "But you're a beautiful woman who I'm starting to like more and more by each passing minute. But it's not even noon and you have a living to make," He said with a slight laugh. "Would you object to meeting me again after you've finished work and after I've finished my 'piratical activities'?"

"If you can find me again, in this mess of a town, you can buy me another drink. But it depends if you're up for the challenge." I decide, smirking, not nessasarily minding this propostion, I spend most of my evenings alone, unless I (once in a blue moon) come across someone who will buy me drinks. And I know something they always don't, of course, that I have a variety of ways of slitting their bloody throats if they do anything other than I want them too. That combined with being able to hold a drink, makes my life one hell of a lot easier around here. Plus, he isn't so bad, I should be allowed to treat myself once in a while, and if I'm wrong, it won't be my loss.

"I'm not opposed to a good challenge once in a while, if the rewards are worth it," Bailey smirked a little. He hadn't necessarily been proposing what she'd presume he's been proposing, but if the situation arose, he certainly wouldn't turn it down, but he also didn't want her to presume he was that kind of man. But certainly, he had no better plans than drinking with a good woman. "I'll find you,"

"Alright then." I finish off my rum, quite easily, "So, before I get back, is there anything I can do for you? I know quite a few people around here, do you need introducing to anyone?"
