"Yeah," Mystique agreed, as they walked through the classroom hand in hand. Mystique pushed the door open, at the same time the sky turned white and they were gone again.

Logan blinked against the light, until his eyes adjusted to see that they were back outside the mansion. When the doors opened, Logan pulled Mystique behind a tree so they were hidden from view while the X-Men walked out, suited up for some mission, going somewhere. Judging by the fact that then-him and then-Mystique were part of that group, Logan realized they still weren't back in their own time yet. But at least they were considerably closer than in the previous few timelapses.
Inside the mansion, Anna (now-Anna) pressed her nose against the window while she watched the team leave. As soon as they were gone, she sat down on the bed and put her head in her hands, so tired of jumping through time.

Mystique peaked out from behind a tree, watching the team leave. Once the coast was clear, Mystique tugged Logan's hand, "C'mon, let's see if we can find any time travelling beer," She suggested, heading across the garden towards the kitchen doors.

Upstairs, Anna got to her feet to go to her own room.. to crawl up in the bed and hide under the covers or something. Through the window, she saw someone move from the corners of her eyes. Her mouth dropped when she saw Mystique and Logan - not the Mystique and Logan who'd just left. She instantly teleported downstairs to meet them by the door. "Oh my god! It's you isn't it!?" She threw her arms around Mystique quickly.

Mystique frowned, arms instantly wrapping around Anna in return. She opened her mouth to speak, to ask how the hell she was here, if she knew what was going on, if she'd seen Jean or Hank, but the sky turned white again before she could and they were thrown through time once more.

When Anna and Mystique reappeared in another place and time, Logan wasn't with them anymore. Anna blinked her eyes and stared around her old neighbourhood. They were in front of her parents' house, on the lawn.

Mystique frowned, looking around them. "Where the hell is this? Where the hell is Logan?"

"This is where I grew up." Anna answered the first question, while she grabbed Mystique's hand and pulled her along to the backyard where they could hear voices. When they peeked around the corner of the house, they could see another Anna, 12 or 13 years old, sniffling while her father put a box in the garden. Now-Anna gasped, "Awh my god, mister Muffle!" She whispered, remembering the day that her bunny got buried.

Mystique raised an eyebrow, "...right," She mumbled. "Great. This is really fun an' all, I'm going to find my husband," She said, leaving Anna to watch baby-Anna bury her bunny and walking back across the garden.

"Wait!" Anna quickly turned around and hurried after Mystique, "Don't leave me! Something's going on, I've been going through random moments in time! We have to stick together!" She said, instinctively assuming they had to be physically close to travel through time together.
