Jenna immediately felt a little jealous at his words. Wanting to know more about this woman, she asked, "What became of her? Do you ever talk to her these days?"

Jack pulled out a new DRY map and rolled it out.. He tried to ignore the conversation going on but could't help but to get annoyed by it. "curiosity killed the cat" ..He sung to himself in a low voice but loud enough for the girl to hear so that she knew he was talking to her.

Jenna was a little pissed off. She didn't get why Jack was being so rude to her. Barbossa didn't seem to mind the questions, so why did he? She hadn't done anything to him at all. At least, not yet anyways.
As she waited for Barbossa to respond, Jenna turned towards Jack and said, "Why don't you shut the door or something so you can concentrate on getting us to this fountain that we're looking for?"

"Why don' you shut yer mouth an' not worry 'bout what I do.." He gave her a dirty look before looking back at his map

Jenna scowled and forgot about not causing trouble. She got up indignantly from where she was sitting, walked right up to Jack and catching him by surprise, ripped the charts out of his grip. Taking a few steps back she said, "Now why don't you tell me what your problem with me is? I haven't caused you one bit of trouble and yet you act like I'm poison."

"Should I list it in aphabetical order?" He faced the girl. "numerical then I suppose. One, ya know nothin' 'bout life at sea, bein' on a ship OR workin' on a ship. Two, I think Barbossa's a fool for lettin' ya come with us, but then again I think he's a fool for 98% of the things he does. Three, yer not gunna be able to handle this life and you'll be beggin ta go home. Four, ya knew nothin' about me before ya decided I was the bad person in this whole situation when in all reality We're ALL the bad people.. We're pirates.." He wondered if this was getting though to her at all. "Shall I go on?"

Jenna's head spun as Jack listed reason after reason of why she shouldn't be on the ship. Trying to break down all of his statements in her mind, she responded, "Just because I know nothing about being on a ship doesn't mean I can't learn! You refusing to tell me things like what the fountain is certainly isn't helping. And I would never beg to go home. My life at home was horrible. I would never marry against my will."
Jenna shuddered and thought about how lucky she was to be on this ship. And then after glanced sheepishly over at Barbossa, she added, "The captain isn't a fool for letting me come. I'll be helpful to him."

Jack looked at her as though she was just a young child who didn't know what she was talking about. "Sure ya can love.. Now may I have my maps back?"

Jenna didn't like the way Jack was treating her. She was a 17-year-old, not a 2-year-old. Deciding to use the maps to her advantage, she took two steps away from Jack and replied, "No, you can't. You can only have them once you tell me what this fountain is and when you promise to stay out of my cabin."

"Your cabin? YOUR CABIN?" Jack looked at Barbossa.. "Did you know this is HER cabin??" He looked at the girl like she was nuts.
