Jack smirked. The woman clearly didn't have her priorities straight. "Look, woman, either you can continue to poke at us here while whatever the bloody hell is going on out there goes on, or you can be of some use to the damn ship and have us taken up."

'the thing is .. I don't want you out' she told Jack 'You belong in that thing, and until I have other plans for you, i'll let you out' she revealed 'Besides, I doubt the captain has time for two scoundrels like you two, he's far too busy blaming the disappearance of crewmembers on the storm' she laughed

"You think we're going to somehow break loosing of these iron bars if we're left alone? We're not escape artists, darling." She frowned at the woman, thinking her stupid.

'indeed, you're not, you're just a bunch of liars and clearly.. beggars too' she smirked 'let's ask the captain what he thinks of letting you two out, huh?' with a grin on her face she left the brig and headed updecks to where Melchior was dealing with the storm 'The two prisoners need you, it's urgent.

Melchior barely heard her in the gale of the storm, but he turned to stare at her anyway, "I TOLD YOU TO STAY INSIDE." He yelled over the noise of the storm, "THE PRISONERS ARE HARDLY MY CONCERN AT THIS MOMENT."

'...ALRIGHT' she shouted back and shrug. She was just about to walk back when she saw one of the crewmembers near the rail slip and fall down on the deck because of the rain. Before he could even try to stand up, a thin bone-like blue arm grabbed his foot and pulled him towards the sea. The only thing stopping him was rail. Serena's eyes widened. She may have been a Siren, but even some sea creatures were too difficulty for her to handle. 'CAPTAIN! YOU'VE GOT A SITUATION' she shouted "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH HELP MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

He noted the situation, but there was little he could do, he couldn't leave the helm. Instead the majority of the men on decks ran over attempting to rescue the man. They were too late, but as he disappeared into the water, and they all peered over the edge, a swarm of the creatures rose up in the waves and began to pick them off, one by one, in quick and brutal movements.

Jack wasn't in the mood to sit around with a commotion going on upstairs - not that he wanted to be a part of it either. It just seemed to be the perfect time to...leave. "Oi, you!" He snapped at the guard. "It looks to me like your mates up there have found themselves in a bit of a pickle, eh?"

'get away from the rail!' Serena told the rest of the crew as more and more men were dragged into the depths. She tried to peak over the rail to see what she was up against, but the skeletonlike blue hands were coming towards her in no time. She had to run back to the middle of the deck 'You're losing your crew rapidly, captain, is there anything I can do to help?' the last thing she wanted was steer this ship to Atlantis herself.. she needed everyone aboard.
The guard shrugged at Jack 'aye indeed, i'm going to help them' he said, running up the stairs of the brig to help out his fellow crewmembers.

The four heavy barrels that the guard was sitting on rolled into the brig door, breaking it open. "Well, that was easy," muttered Jack. The only thing they'd have to do now would be to break their chains open. "After you, Penny, dearest."
