((ooc-- That's fine)) Actually, it wasn't really that Astoria didn't have it in her to kill someone, she just wasn't exactly the kill-someone-for-their-money type. If someone had attacked her and she needed to defend herself, she'd have no problem with killing. But this guy had just passed out here drunk and she had robbed him and was now holding a knife to his throat. . . .
And he wanted to be her therapist?!?! What the hell is wrong with this picture. She let out a deep sigh and threw the coin purse at him. "Fergittit!" She stood up and said, "It aint worth it." She began to walk away, pissed off, annoyed and a bit confused.

Jack looked at the girl as she walked away. He was a bit grateful she hadn't killed him and gave him back his money. He picked u the pouch and followed the girl.
"Oy, girl!" Jack called. "Shouldn' ya be heading home? What if yer mum's wondering where her precious, lovely daughter is?"

Astoria stopped dead in her tracks. At this point she almost wished she had killed this damned fool. Why couldn't he just leave her alone? She sucked in a deep breath of air before turning around and taking a few steps toward the pirate. "What exactly do ya want from me?" She asked, ignoring his remark. "I gave you yer coins back, I didn't kill ya. . . ." She trailed off.
Of course the comment he made about her mother stung, but never in the thirteen years of her life has her mother worried about where she was. . . . And now she was dead. .

"An' I appreciate ya not killing me", Jack said.
When the girl stopped yelling, he knew something was wrong. She didn't look at him. He noticed she seemed a bit sad. Even though Jack didn't know who she was, he didn't want to see her sad.
"It's raining hard tonight, eh?" he asked. "Would ya like ta come over ta my ship? Just until it stops raining?"

Astoria let out a soft laugh at the comment. "What do I look like to you, cap'n?" She took a few slow steps closer to him. "One of your lil bar wenches? . . How much do you think I'm worth?"

"You?" Jack asked. "I don't think yer worth any trouble any one of these salty wenches here are worth."
He was getting tired of arguing with this girl. He can see she was going through a tough time. She may be tough, but she isn't that tough.
"Don't get me wrong, love", Jack said. "I have no intention of hurting ya. Now, if ya need a place ta stay fer the night, then come with me. If not, good luck ta ya an' yer problem."
He got up to start his way back to the Black Pearl.

Astoria stood there watching him walk away. Her thoughts drifted to her childhood and the things her mother had to do in order to feed herself and her daughter. Perhaps Astoria had been childish and nieave to look down on her mother for prostituting. Desperate times call for desperate measures, right? Sometimes you have to do things you don't like in order to survive.. And right now Astoria had no way of getting any food on the table or paying rent in her old apartment over the dress shop. Maybe her mother was right in what she was doing..
When Astoria got to the docks, it was pretty simple to find the ship Jack Sparrow was on; There were only two ships on the dock that night and one was little dingy compared to the huge vessel, with the black sails. She stood staring at it for quiet some time and couldn't help thinking how beautiful the ship was. She closed her eyes and wondered what it would be like living her whole life on a ship like this one, and she could almost smell the salty ocean air and feel the spokes of the helm in the palms of her hands. . . But when she opened her eyes she realized that wasn't her life. She was now about to go down the same path her mother went down and sell her body in order to survive.
She drew in a deep breath before slowly making her way up the gang plank, hoping no other pirates would be on deck. Taking off her over coat and casting it aside, she revealed her tight corset making her breasts pop out seductively. "I don't believe you answered my question captain.." She said when she found him with his back toward her. "How much you got??"

Jack turned when he heard the girl's voice. When he saw her in her corset, he stared uncomfortably at her breasts.
"Even though those are very nice", he said. "Would ya mind putting them away? I'm not one fer taking advantage of young lasses."

Pushing away any fear and intimidation she took a few steps closer to the pirate. "I'm not as young as I look. . ." She lied and began fidgeting with the beads hanging from his beard. "You can be my first costumer. . and besides, it's not like I've never been with a man before. . Just not for money." This part was true. There was one other man, but she pushed the thought of him away. Finally she looked up at him with a cute and innocent yet seductive expression on her face and prayed it would work . . She really needed the money.

"Exactly how old are ya?" Jack asked when she said she wasn't as young as she looked.
The last thing he needed was to start an affair with a child. He likes women, but he would never, never sleep with one under the age of 16 or so.
