'It wasn't working, that's all there was to it,' she stated and looked out of the window and tried to change the topic, not wanting to talk on her ex anymore. 'Did you just move here or change schools?'

"Both," Tom laughed. "I moved here a few months ago, got kicked out of a few schools already and here I am. I just cant seem to make it work in any schools," He smirked. "I think I have a problem with authority figures," He joked.

'Don't we all? I have never met a teenager who liked an authority figure telling them what to do,' she said sinking down in in the seat. 'I know people who like telling other people what to do, but most people don't like being told to do something they don't want to.'

"That's very true," Tom smirked. "But yeah ... so I'm trying to make this school work out, for my mother's sanity. Who knows? Miracles happen. I've made one friend already, that's something, right?" He grinned.

'I suppose so. I don't really enjoy this school to be honest...but in some ways it's better...no uniforms for one,' she replied. 'A lot of it is bullshit...especially in art...'

"You'll find that in most art schools," Tom said, pulling up outside his apartment. "You can wait here if you want, or you can come up, I dont mind,"

'I don't care,' she replied. 'It's really up to you...I know some parents are touchy about bringing unknown people into the house.'

"My mum's not in, and she wouldnt care anyway," Tom said, "You can come up," He got out of the car and locked the doors, leading the way up to his apartment. Hanson opened the door to the apartment, hoping Captain Fuller had set him up with an apartment that suited the kind of person he was pretending to be. He glanced around the room and decided it was perfect for him, clothes and empty food packets thrown around the place while it still felt like a teenager living with a single mum. "I wont be a minute," He said, taking his shirt off as he walked through the room, tossing the ripped tshirt on the floor.

Emma followed him and wasn't sure how to feel about this place. It was a mess...completely different than what Emma was used to. There was a certain order to her house, a cleanness thanks to the maid, but not chaos or empty food dishes or whatever thrown around. It made her almost suggest to lend his family Lily for an afternoon.
'Okay,' she replied, standing there feeling completely awkward.

Tom walked through to 'his' bedroom and changed into a red button down shirt, leaving the collar open. He glanced into the mirror and ran his hands through his messy hair. Tom grabbed his bowling ball from his closet, there were certain things Tom always made sure that were in his so-called homes for cases, his bowling ball was one of those things. He headed back out into the living room where Emma was waiting. "Ok, all done," He smiled, walking back to the front door.
