'Have none,' she replied in a simple reply to both answers.
She had no real friends or a boyfriend. She had been single for a little over a year now, information giving was never one of her favourite things to people...any people at all. It was perhaps the reason she had no friends at all, she shut them out. Still, she never lied to him or would give him the wrong information.

"Oh," Tom said, so the guy after her wasnt a boyfriend, or at least she didnt consider him so, who knew what the other guy thought. This was a straight forward babysitting assignment. Girl breaks up with boyfriend, boyfriend doesnt agree, threatens girl, Jump Street gets called in, Hanson get stuck with the case. "Me neither," He laughed a little.

She eyed him for a moment before going back to her food. 'I don't think anyone in the damn school has any real friends...you'd just step on them when you get the chance to advance into something more,' she replied and pursed her lips slightly.
She saw it everywhere, singers with their friends who were in the mixing or producing programmes. It was a school that ruined friendships and caused rivalries rather than encouraged people to make those kinds of relationships. Everyone was so competitive and concentrated only on themselves and their potential career than having a normal teenage life.

Tom watched her for a moment. It was no wonder she was being threatened by crazy ex-boyfriends, she had an attitude, she didnt seem easily pushed over and she seemed cynical about everything. Not something a normal high school boy would be looking for in a girlfriend. "I wouldn't," Tom said simply, sipping his chocolate milk.

'You're one of few then,' she remarked. 'Then again, you don't want to be here...so it is understandable.'
She looked to the clock on the wall. It was going to be a slow day she could tell already. So, she leaned on an arm and looked at her food, her finger now tracing along the edge of a cup. Her expression softened a little. She knew why people didn't want to talk to her...tabloids were often terrible liars.

Tom finished off his lunch and moved his tray across to the side. Sipping his drink still he opened his ringbinder and flicked through it. It was pretty empty so far since he'd only had the morning's worth of lessons. Hanson turned to the timetable section and ran his fingers across the page. "Urg," He groaned, "Fine art next," He muttered to himself. "Great,"

'I don't feel like even going to that class,' she replied sourly. 'The teacher has no idea what he is talking about. I need to get out of there at least for an hour.'
Emma needed a cigarette and they wouldn't let her smoke on school property. She had been found twice within the past month alone smoking in various locations on campus. After all, it would have been very unlike her to not get in some trouble, no need in worrying her family by completely shutting down and being quiet.

"I'll take your word for it," Tom smirked, since he'd never been to the class. "I dont think I'll bother going," Hanson couldn't exactly encourage Emma to skip lessons, but since he was an adult, and didnt have to be in school anyway, it didnt matter for him. But if Emma just happened to be skipping the same lesson, well ... that was just conveniant. Tom stood up, taking his tray over to the rubbish bin. He walked back and picked up his boots. "I'll see you around I guess," He said, so it wouldnt seem like he was following her.

She took her items and sighed a little as she made sure everything was orderly and made her way out of the lunch room. As she made her way out of the school, she went into her purse and took out a cigarette and a lighter. It was now set in her mind to walk back to her small home and spend time with her dogs before returning to the school for her voice lesson.
((Sorry...it could be better I know))

Tom tossed his books onto the back seat of the 'stang and got in the drivers seat. He was pulling out of the school car park, planning on going back to Jump Street to fill in the Captain on what he found out today, and maybe do some digging on the girl's history, but as he turned out of the school he saw Emma walking out as well. Tom leant across and wound down the car window. "Want a lift?" He smirked.
