"Fireworks!" Phyr shouted loudly and touched her finger to the end of one of the outset fireworks. They were in a large abandoned parking lot at about 3 in the morning. It wasn't Fourth of July and it wasn't New Years, but there was still cause to celebrate.
Kale smirked a bit and leaned back against the car, laying on the hood beside Syn, his arms behind his head as he watched the firework race up and explode in a bunch of colors. It was loud and abnoxious, even with Phyr shouting-- but it didn't matter. They were miles from civilization and with no one to hear them-- and they had plenty cause to celebrate. Tonight was the biggest deal they'd made yet. The earned a shitload of money doing it-- more money than they'd ever received before. And the job hadn't even been that hard. Steal some jewels from some old lady's house. That was the extent of the situation they had handled and he'd practically planned it in one night. It'd taken even less than an hour to get the jewels out of the house. Too easy. "Phyr! Don't light yourself on fire!" He shouted when he saw flames burst out of a firework that went into the air.
Syn raised a finger from where she lay next to Kale on the hood of the car and pointed it up at the fireword, freezing it. She smirked slightly as it fell back to the ground and shattered like it were glass there.
"Oh! That's mature Syn!" Phyr pouted over her ruined firework and went to light another.
This was the way their entire night would go and they were quite content that way.

Jack and Colette were walking through the fields outside the city. Jack had his arm around Colette while she leant against him. They wanted to get out of the city, away from the noise and the so called 'normal' people that looked down their noses at them.
Jamie followed far behind them, only because Colette didnt trust leaving him home alone on his own, even if he was 19. He was watching his feet as he walked through the mud, trying to ignore the fact he could hear both Jack and Colette's thoughts. Jack was thinking of what he was going to do later to surprise Colette when they were home alone, and Colette was wondering what Jack could possibly be planning for her. Mental images Jamie really didnt want to picture of his sister and her boyfriend.
"Cant you two think of anything else?" He shouted to them.
"Get out of my head, dorkus!" Jack shouted back.
"You know I cant control this, so do me a favour and think of things PG rated," Jamie rolled his eyes.
I'll think whatever the hell I like Jack thought, knowing Jamie would 'hear' it. Suddenly a firework went off not far in the distance.
"I thought you said we'd be alone out here, Jack," Colette said, placing a hand on his stomach.
"I thought we would be ... noone come out this far, this late," Jack frowned.

Kale rolled over and touched Syn's hand when she pointed it at the next firework that Phyr set off-- figuring to freeze that one as well. "Hey, let it be." He told her seriously and pulled his hand back before he shivered. Syn's skin was always cold as hell-- especially when she was about to freeze something or use her power in one way or another.
Syn shrugged a bit and lowered her hand, relaxing back onto the car, leaning back on her elbows.
Phyr set off three more fireworks in a row and watched them all explode in the sky. "How rich are we?" She turned back towards the car.
Kale smirked slightly when he heard Phyr. "Rich enough. Enough to last us three weeks eating good meals everyday. Maybe enough to get us a hotel room too."

"Just get out, Eva! I told you that we're over!" "No you didn't. You never said anything like that. You said we were on a break, that's not the same as splitting up. That dosnt mean you can go and fuck whoever you want." I yell at him, so damn angry that I could almost explode. "GET OUT!" he yells "I'm gone." I mutter in reply, storming out the of apartment and running swiftly down the cold, concrete staircase. As my feet reach the street below I head along the alley to the park. I frown harder as I hear an almighty bang in the distance. At least someone has something to celebrate. My pace increases into strides and soon enough the rain comes pouring down. As it always does. And after that comes the thunder and then eventually the lightening. I sink down at the barrier of the park gates and cry, like a pathetic little girl, lost.

As they got closer, Jamie could hear male thoughts that werent Jack's and definitley werent his own. "Hey Jack!" Jamie called quietly, running up to catch up with him. "The person up there ..." He nodded to where the fireworks were coming from. "They're rich, can we rob them?" He grinned enthusiastically.
"Rich? Really?" Jack grinned, ideas casting in his mind already. "How rich?"
"I dont know, I cant tell,"
"Jack, no!" Colette protested. "Not tonight, have one night off,"
"Wait here," Jack said. "Both of you," A look of concerntration came across his face for a brief moment before he disappeared in front of their eyes. He walked in the direction the fireworks had come from, completely invisible. He wanted to find out who these people were, and more importantly, how rich they were.

Phyr grinned and then set off another firework-- the last of the bunch. "Well, we've run out of our celebration tool. Shame. How else should we celebrate? Bonfire?"
"No." Kale said immediately, seeing the flash of mischeif in Phyr's eyes. "We don't need to blow up any car gas tanks. Especially the one we're laying on."

Jack walked between the three people, while they were completely unaware of his presence. Listening to them, watching them, silent. He stepped carefully around the mud, walking over to the man who's thoughts Jamie had heard. He wished he'd brought Jamie with him, made him invisible and brought him to listen to their thoughts.

The rain keeps pouring and by the time I pull myself together I'm drentched and the mascara has run down my face so I now resemble a Panda ... "Urgh." I mutter as I wipe is away and continue to head through the park to the parking lot where I'd left my car this evening. And what an evening it has been. I don't understand how such innocent plans can turn out to be such terrible ones. I wish i'd never even set foot in this part of town.

Kale grinned a bit at Phyr and made a motion. "Why don't you clean that shit up? You made the mess after all."
"Hey you bought them for me, Kale." Phyr said right back to him. "You have to help."
Kale rolled his eyes and made a motion with his hand and all the trash on the ground lifted up with the simple motion he made.

When I get there I see the two that are responsible for the fireworks. I just ignore it and head over to my car, which is the only other one, apart from their's, that's still here. I stand by the door, thumbling around for the keys in my handbag. "For gods sake." I mutter angrily to myself.
