Syn laid down Zacch in the little neutral crib they'd bought to go in the nursery until they figured out whether it was a boy or girl. She cooed over him a while longer, unable to pull away and go to bed yet, even though she was absolutely exhausted.

Jamie watched her for a few minutes, but as soon as he laid his head back into the pillow he was asleep, making the most of the quiet.

Syn finally turned toward the bed when Zacch fell asleep and went to lay down next to Jamie with a comfortable sigh.
