[Lauren]

"Me, I can become invisible, or make anyone or anything invisible by touching them," Jack said, "Colette," He gestured to her. "Can fly. And Jamie can read minds,"

'Should make that could read minds' Jamie thought. He moved his concentration from Syn to Jack to make sure his ability was still working. Jamie had only been able to read minds for the last year of his life, he didnt know if he would keep it forever or not. It scared him that he couldnt get into Syn's head.

[Devyn]

Kale opened his mouth to say more, but Phyr cut him off as she walked forward.
"Then prove it. One at a time. Prove you can do such things."
She pointed at Colette first.
"You fly up in the cage, but don't leave it, I warn you."
She pointed at Jack.
"And you invisible. And you..."
She looked at Jamie.'
"Read our minds."

[Lauren]

They did as they were told. Colette hovered a few feet above the ground. Jack shrugged and made himself invisible, although he had already shown them earlier.

Jamie stepped forward to the front of the cage. "You," He pointed to Kale. "You're scared of us, threatened. This is 'your world' and you dont want anyone taking it away from you. You're the king of the jungle with these two,"
He shrugged and moved his finger to Phry. "You dont believe us. You dont think we can do what we said we could, you thought you three were the only ones and you liked it that way,"
His attention turned to Syn. He tried getting into her mind again and just got another pain in his head. Jamie jumped back, shaking his head.

"Jamie!" Colette dropped back to the ground and stepped over to her brother. She put her hands on the side of his face, looking into his eyes. "What's wrong? Did it hurt?" She asked, mothering him.

"I'm ok, I'm ok," Jamie muttered, batting her hand away.

[Devyn]

Kale grunted a bit when Jamie was definitely able to read his thoughts. The King of the jungle part was extremely true-- along with feeling threatened.
"And so what?"
He asked them straight foward.
"What will you do abo--"

Syn interrupted Kale, although she hard interrupted anyone, let alone speak to them, especially people she didn't know.
"And me?"
She looked directly at Jamie.
"You failed to spit out my thoughts."

[Lauren]

"I cant ... er ... I cant read your thoughts," Jamie mumbled.
Jack shot him a surprised look, Jamie had never failed to ready anyone's mind before.
"There's something blocking it ... when I try I get a sharp pain through the middle of my brain ..." He shook his head, trying to work out why his power wasnt working.

[Devyn]

Phyr grunted a little bit and shook her head.
"I don't believe he can read minds then."

Syn shook her head a little towards her twin.
"Oh, he can."
She looked back at Jamie.
"Just not mine. Don't be jealous sister."

"I'm not--"

"Stop." Kale muttered at the both of them, "We don't have time for your silly arguments. We have to figure out what we will do about them."

[Lauren]

"What you'll do with them?" Jack frowned, walking to the front of the cage again. "You may own the children over there, but you do not own us! You will not do anything with us! You will melt this cage or whatever you do to get rid of it and you will let us go. That is what you're going to do!" Jack said, firmly, not liking being treated like an animal at the zoo.

[Devyn]

Kale's eyes narrowed on him some when he dared to speak to him like that.
"What I do depends on your actions now. And so far, they aren't looking too good for you."

[Lauren]

"Why should we be the ones caged up? We're no different to you," Jack said. "I dont understand what gives you the right to decide what happens to us, Mr King of the Jungle," Jack hid a smirk, trying to wind him up by what Jamie told them.

[Devyn]

Kale took a step forward towards the cage with a look of venom, but the cage suddenly fell to sparkling pieces all around them on the ground, slowing starting to melt in the warm air.

"He has a point. We could always use more... help."
Syn said simply as she lowered her hand after she'd destroyed the cage.
