Kale nodded, "I think that would be best." He pointed to Jamie, "I don't want him in the car with us." He said directly, not feeling like getting his brain picked.

Jamie rolled his eyes as Colette took his and Jack's hand. Jack made them all invisible in the blink of an eye, not wanting people to see them flying across the city. "Ok, lead the way," Jack said.

Kale just got into the driver's side of the car and Phyr into the passenger's and Syn in the back-- the typical way that they drove. He started the engine and pulled them out towards the highway to lead back into town.

The three followed close behind them. Kale hadnt wanted Jamie in the same car, but this close behind them Jamie could still hear his thoughts, and so they knew every turn before the car made it.
They landed by the side of the road next to the car after it'd parked. Jack made them all visible again. Jamie rubbed his shoulder, hating the way they had to travel like that, he always ended up with an aching shoulder joint.

Phyr got out of the car first at the hotel and smirked a bit, "Kale, you go see if you can get us rooms, hmm?"
Kale rolled his eyes and got out, already having been headed to the lobby.

Syn caught Jamie's wrist before he went forward, her touch cold, but not freezing at the moment.
"No you don't. Kale is plenty capable to get a room by himself."
She glanced at Jack and gave him a placid look, knowing what he was trying to do.

"I'll go wherever I want," Jamie said, pulling his arm away from Syn. He didnt like being ordered about, he only accepted it from Jack and Colette, but he wasnt going to let these new people boss him about.
Jamie followed Kale into the hotel.

Syn glanced at Phyr who smirked back at her as if they were reading each other's minds. Syn sent out a spray of ice that forumalted in front of Jamie and Phyr melted is slightly so the poor kid fell onto his back-- not to hurt him, but just to show what they could do at the very least.
