Syn smiled faintly, "Don't worry, I think we're both quite strong." Of course, she culdn't be sure since they hadn't been able to see past the thick layers of ice underneath her skin. She didn't even know if the baby was a male or female-- it was just going to have to be a surprise.

Jamie walked around the counter and placed a hand on her stomach. "I should hope so too," Jamie smiled and kissed her softly.

Syn sighed softly, "I take it back... I think it's a lot stronger than I am." She felt as exhausted as she looked-- bags under her eyes with red rimmed iris, showing from the lack of sleep.

Syn nodded slightly and then looked past him, "Your pan is on fire." She pointed out helpfully. She used to just put it out herself, but she hadn't used any ice powers in month to make sure the baby wouldn't be affected by them.

"Shit." He mumbled and spun around. He soaked a towel in water before tossing it over the pan to extinguish the flame. He rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Gotta stop swearing," He muttered to himself.

Syn shrugged, "Why? The baby's not out yet. I doubt he or she... it can hear you." She glanced down at her swollen stomach.

Jamie glanced back with a slight smile and passed her her slightly burnt breakfast. "Because he or she will be out one day, and if I stop swearing now I won't slip up when he or she is born,"
