Syn smirked a little more, "You're just saying that so I don't lay on you and squash you." She flicked his nose lightly with her index finger, then moved to get up-- a whole process in itself.

"No...I'm not," Jamie said seriously, taking her arm to help her to her feet.

Syn felt a wave of exhaustion hit her as she stood up and she got a fairly good pout going, "I can't even stand up without being tired." She whined, "I just want this thing out of me!"

"There's not long left now," Jamie told her, slipping his arm around her waist, still holding her hand with his other. "Let's get you back to bed,"

Syn just nodded in a agreement, though she grumbled bitterly the entire way there, "It's not fair... I only go between two places. The bed and the kitchen, I swear."

Jamie smirked a little. "Isn't that always the way?" He took her hand and pulled her to her feet again. "Come on, you can sit down in a few minutes," Entwining their fingers he led her across the road to the beach, parasol resting over his shoulder.
