Syn shook her head as well, opening her eyes to look up at him, "I don't know... to be honest, I was thinking of girl names. I really thought it was going to be a girl."

Syn didn't argue with that, nestling down into the covers and pillows. "Mmm... I love you, Jamie..." She mumbled before slipping off to sleep.

"I love you too," Jamie whispered and kissed her forehead. He stood up and carried the baby into what used to be his room, and was now the second nursery. He tucked his son in to let him sleep and then just stood over him, watching him sleep.

The little boy slept soundly, tiny after only a few hours of birth. He was healthy though and his skin was Jamie's color with eyes like Jamie, but a light mop of blonde hair, barely visible on his head.

Jamie eventually fell to sleep in the chair next to the baby's crib, exhausted, but maybe not as exhausted as Syn, but he was still tired from all the screaming, bleeding and her death grip on his hand.

The baby woke Syn up some hours later with his screeching and crying, mad about one thing or another. "God..." She grumbled, rubbing her head and moving to sit up, trying to be slow about it.

Jamie woke up with a jolt when the baby started screaming right next to his head. He groaned and rubbed his face before picking the baby up, attempting to rock it back to sleep.

The tiny boy just continued to cry, waving his small fists through the air as he did, screeching loudly.
"Jamie, what'd you do to him?" Syn questioned as she managed to get into the nursery.

"I didn't do anything!" Jamie said, panicing a little. "Make him stop, Syn," He passed the baby across to her.
