Mystique glanced up at Anna. "We appreciate you takin' care of her ... but next time ... Jesus, tell us that you've taken her. If you don't want to ..." She glanced aside at Logan. "Disturb us ... at least leave a note under our door or something. Thought she'd been kidnapped," She muttered, brushing a kiss on the side of Kaede's head.

Anna glanced from Mystique to Logan, to Mystique again, feeling at least a little awkward about their barely dressed look. "I'm sorry," She eventually replied, "I didn't know your first guess would be a kidnapping." She added in her defense.
"Then you ain't been 'round long enough," Logan replied drily. Seein' how everyone he cared 'bout died sooner or later, of course his stomach turned the second Mystique had bursted through that door sayin' Kaede was missin'.

Mystique closed her eyes, burning her face in the blankets around Kaede, inhaling the warm-baby scent, thinking of Aurora when Logan said that. "Thanks for takin' care of her, Anna," She said, glancing up at her. Hell, at least she had a friend that thought to take the baby off her hands when her parents wanted some 'them' time.

"Of course," Anna gave her an unsure smile. "Thanks for not killing me when you thought I'd kidnapped your baby."
Logan raised an eyebrow, glancing over to Anna briefly. "..Yeah, no problem." He replied, not even bothering to point out that he wasn't out to kill her anymore. He brushed a kiss on Kaede's tiny hand when the baby waved her arm through the air, then looked at Mystique next. "Imma take a shower. You okay?" He checked before he left, knowing damn well how the worry had hit her just as hard just now.

"Yeah," Mystique smiled, meeting his gaze for a moment, "We're alright," She moved her thumb to his chin and stole a soft kiss from him. She gave him another smile and stepped around to the fridge, pulling the door open. "Has she fed?" She asked Anna.

Anna watched Logan leave, before she nodded her answer to Mystique. "Yeah, she had her breakfast just now." She confirmed.

Anna raised an eyebrow slightly. "Shouldn't she be playing barbies, instead of joining the senior class' Danger Room practice?" She asked casually, noticing the grade next to the class on the scedual.
