"Xavier confiscated all her Barbies. Besides, she's advanced for her age," Mystique shrugged. "Just means she won't be getting killed so easy," She said, referring to Logan's earlier comment. She walked across to the coffee machine and got herself a fresh cup.

"Well that's.. good." Anna replied, not mentioning how creepy she thought it was that Mystique and Logan kept that sort of danger in the back of their minds when they send their little girl off to fighting-class.

Mystique gave Anna a slight smile and picked her mug up, taking it back upstairs with her to get a shower once Logan was out.

Logan just walked back into the bedroom after a shower, sporting a towel around his waist, when Mystique returned upstairs. "Hey. Brought that for me?" He nodded at the coffeecup hopefully.

"Nope, but brought this for you," Mystique told him, passing him the baby instead. She sipped the coffee as she walked across to the closet to get some clean clothes before showering. "What do you want to do today?" She asked, as if that would help her decide what to wear.

"Play baseball with Kaede. Maybe do some free rock climbing." Logan suggested, smirking at the little baby in his arms, who seemed very enthusiastic about his plans.

"Okay then, just be careful," Mystique mumbled, pretending not to listen anymore. She put both dresses back and pulled out a pair of pants and a sweater instead and took them into the bathroom.

Logan put Kaede down on the bed long enough to get dressed as well, while warily keeping an eye on the baby, as if she'd be able to roll around her axis four times and drop off. All Kaede did was laugh at the ceiling though, until her daddy returned and lifted her up again.
