The Uprising

Charlotte frowned, thinking about what she saw today. "It's terrible. I always keep hoping it'll get better but it's only getting worse. We went into a shop that was abandoned for five minutes. We came out and they were everywhere." She said and stared into the fire.

Melanie listened to her sister's words and looked at Sirius curiously. "What happened when you went out?" She asked him.

[Lisa]

Sirius frowned, unsure of what to say.. "Well at least some of us are still here.." He told Charlotte "I was in the mall minding my own business when these four came along." He said, "I was looking for... well... someone, and they brought a swarm of zombies right to the damn door. We just made it out when the walkers broke the door down." He thought back to when he was hiding and watching the group. "We got one shy girl whom I don't even know how she's survived," He pointed at Amy, "One guy who thinks chivalry is not dead," He pointed at Soren, "and two crazy bipolar hicks!!" He pointed at Billie and Colt. "It's the most messed up group.." Sirius made a disgusted face.

Billie gave Colt a playful nudge. "Don't go getting all sentimental on me now, Killer.." She stood up and walked back over to the group. Just because they had a moment of understanding didn't mean she wanted to get.... "involved" with anyone. She had to look out for herself right now, not herself and anyone else around.. Sure, deep down she wasn't really a killer and if she could she would save anyone of these people from the horrible fate that awaits them if the zombies find them. But she had to keep up her bad ass masquerade. No one needed to think she was a softy. "Hey.. watch who you call crazy, little man. I can show you what crazy really means."

[Barbossa's girl]

"Who're you calling a hick now?!" Colt yelled.

He picked up a stick ready to fight.

Melanie couldn't help but chuckle as Sirius talked about the others. She turned to Amy. "I'm curious too. No offense, you just don't look like you can handle yourself out there. What's your story?" She asked with a smile, trying to be nice to the shy girl.

Charlotte stood up and sighed. "Why are we fighting? We are fighting a shit ton of dead people. Just chill." She said, looking at Billie, Colt, and Sirius. She'd met people who didn't like to trust others and that always confused her. Wasn't it more important to have help taking care of the walking dead?

[Lisa]

Frightened by Colt, Sirius jumped and fell out of his chair.

Soren glanced at Amy, "Yeah, you havn't mentioned much about how you made it.."

Billie smirked at Colt. She loved the way he knew he could handle himself and would take on the world. "He's just jealous.. Besides.. Look at him. He's like... ten. You'd snap him in half." she laughed.

Sirius gave billie a dirty look and pulled himself off the floor.

[Barbossa's girl]

Colt smirked.

"Yeah...I could if I wanted to."

He threw the stick on the ground beside Sirius.

[Lisa]

Sirius let oput a loud sound like a dog yelping when Colt threw the stick. He stuck his tongue out at him then ran and hid behind his tent.

Billie threw her head back, laughing at Sirius. "How did you survive??"

[Barbossa's girl]

"Probably ran all the way here", Colt laughed. "I can't see him doing any fighting, can you?"

Melanie stared after Sirius confused. He was so odd. She glanced up at Colt and smirked, finding it funny that he more or less scared him off. "So where's everyone from?" She asked curiously, trying to keep conversation.

[Lisa]

Sirius came back out. "Hey, I can fight... Just not huge rednecks.." He mumbled the last part.

Billie laughed at Sirius and Colt again, then glanced at Melanie, "Upstate New York.." She said, trying not to bring back anymore memories of home. "What about you?"
