Billie offered a small smile, then pulled out a small picture from her bra and handed it to him. There was a picture of a young boy that looked just like a younger version of herself. She figured words weren't needed and remained silent.
Soren gave her a sidelong glance and felt his curiosity run wild. He wanted to know more about her but was afraid to ask. She seemed like she's seen a lot over the past couple of weeks.. Than again, who hasn't? He glanced over at Billie and Colt - even the two crazy hillbillies seemed to have their sentimental moments. Soren cleared his throat, searching for the right words. Of course he was never good with words. "So.." He began, awkwardly, kicking at the dirt by his feet, "You and Ian seem... uh..." He didn't exactly know how to finish that sentence so he just shut up.

Melanie glanced at him with a raised eyebrow when he spoke up again. He seemed to be stumbling over his words a bit. She was curious about what he was going to say when he stopped. She waited a moment, hoping he would finish and when he didn't she asked, "We seem...what?"
