"Come on," Soren said and followed the sound, still holding Amys hand. They went back to the other door and seen a number of things. First and foremost, the walkers were breaking the door down. They would be in the mall within a few minutes. Second, there was someone new to the group, and as she did with everyone else when she first met them, Billie had her cross bow in his face. "Whats going on..?" He asked and held up his gun but didn't point it at the new kid.
"Now's really not the time for introductions.. Or murder." He gave Billie a dirty look. "You're not getting out that way or getting back to that van." He pointed to the door. "And I suspect you have no where to go.." Billie nodded at that and lowered her weapon slightly. "Idiots," Sirius mumbled.. "Come on, we'll go out the back. There's a small semi-truck back there with the keys still in it." He started walking then turned when no one was following, "Come on!!"
Billie lowered her weapon and glanced between Colt, Soren and Amy. She wasn't sure if they should trust this kid. He didn't look like he was any older then 18. But when she looked back at the door she figured it was better to trust some kid than a bunch of undead monsters and she decided to be the first to follow the kid.

"Who are you, kid?" Colton asked. "How do we know you're not trying to lead us into a trap or something?"
He grabbed Billie's arm.
"I wouldn't trust this guy, bright eyes."

Billie glared at Cole then glanced at the door. "Their going to break it down any minute." She yanked her arm away from him. "What other options do we have?" She asked and all of her cocky, joking manner left her expression.
Sirius rolled his eyes, "Okay, you two stay and the three of us will get away while the zombies eat you." He said in a smart ass way and began walking away.

"Fine!" Colt said.
He followed Sirius. He looked at Billie and smiled.
"Ya know, I you get scared, I'm here to protect you."
He wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close.

[/b] moment Billie allowed herself to enjoy that concept and she almost even smiled about it. It would be nice to have someone other than herself protect her for once. But that wasn't her. She elbowed him - not hard enough to slow him down, but hard enough to get the point across. "I can protect myself just fine." Just then she heard a loud smash and spun around. The zombies broke the door down. "Run!!" Sirius yelled and took them all out the back door to the semi. He opened the back for the others to get in and hopped in the front.Soren threw the bags of supplies in the back and helped Amy in with the others. "I'm going to sit up front with the new kid." He told her feeling almost responsible for her now. "You'll be fine with them."[/blockquote][/blockquote] |

Colt opened a window and fired his crossbow at the zombies.

Soren sat in the front while Sirius drove.. Or, tried to anyway. "Do you even know how to drive this thing??" He asked and Sirius shook his head. "Great.." He muttered.
Billie stood up and started shooting at the zombies but the truck kept swerving. "What the hell is that kid doing??" She yelled. Clearly the new kid didn't know how to drive a semi. Either did she but she wasn't dumb enough to try. Suddenly Sirius swerved the truck and Billie lost her footing. Her gun flew out of her hand and she fell right into Colts arms.

Colt looked at Billie in his arms.
"Good thing I was here to catch you", he said.
Sirius drove over a speed bump causing him and Billie to knock into each other. Colton's and Billie's head pressed together as if they were kissing. Colt smiled, grabbed Billie and kissed her for real.

Billie kissed him back for a moment before shoving him away. "Are you nuts??" She said and started looking for her gun trying to ignore the fact that she actually kissed him back.

He looked at Billie's gun and watched as it disappeared from view.
