If Rose had been frightened before, it was nothing in comparison when the shadow turned toward her. The lamp slipped right out of her fingertips and crashed down to to the floor, breaking at her feet, but she didn't even notice.
She took a horrified step backwards, staring in those blue eyes.
"Dad?"

The figure, who looked an awful lot like Thomas now, took a step closer to her.
"I don't know where the fuck I am, but I remember these walls..."
Suddenly a loud sound of gunfire was heard, but it disappeared as soon as it had appeared and those blue eyes still looked at Rose.
"Don't worry, it's just inside my head"

Rose stood frozen to the spot, not knowing whether to be absolutely terrified or what. She watched him approach her, wincing like she'd been the one shot by the loud gunfire.
"Why are you here? How are you here?"

He sighed.
"All these questions...they never fucking end..give me some fucking peace!
The table moved on its own, standing up on its side and Thomas looked towards it and then at Rose.
"Sorry about that. You want to know, do you really want to know, Rose?"
Embry had heard the sound of the lamp crashing to the floor, but he didn't hear anything afterwards, no gunshot or anything, so he laid back on his bed.

Rose felt her body stiffen as her dad said her name, getting over the fact that it was terrifying that he was right there-- now she had the chance to be angry at him when he was right there in front of her.
"Yes, I want to know. I want to know why you killed mom. I want to know why you thought it was a good idea to leave us alone?! To leave Embry alone! Do you know how much he suffers?!"

Embry frowned as he heard Rose yell and he sat up, listening
Thomas looked at her and instantly there was a flashback and it was like Rose was back in her parents bedroom where it all had happened. Alex was there, Thomas was there and they were both sitting on the bedroom-floor laughing and smoking, high on drugs.
"Let's play russianroulette!" Thomas said to Alex, pointing a gun to his head and pulling the trigger. Nothing happened and he kept on smoking and laughing.
"I love you, Alex...I love you so fucking much" he crawled over the floor to her and put his arms around her and kissed her on her cheek, giggling like a boy

Rose stood stone still where she was, the color drained from her face as she watched the scene. She had not seen her parent's bedroom since two years ago and then it had been covered in blood and misery. She held her breath now, but a part of her already knew what was coming. She already knew how this story was going to end, but she could not look away.
Her eyes stayed glued to her parents, missing them desperately in the sweet moment they had.

"Rose?" Embry asked but didn't get any answer. He walked out of his room and looked around, there was an eerie silence in the apartment and he noticed the doors to the kitchen were closed.
"Promise me you'll never leave? Never ever leave me. It's you and me against the world, it was always like that, Alex" Thomas said as he held Alex tight in his arms.
"I'm so tired of this shit we're living though, you know..you know how it is..these fucking meds fucking up my head at times when they're suppose to help.."
The scene continued, but Alex and Thomas acted like Rose wasn't there.

Rose felt like she wasn't there, just watching a movie that played out in front of her. Her fingers felt numb by her sides as her arms hung loosely there. Her baby blue eyes never once strayed from the scene in front of her. She wanted to know every part of this-- whether it was a dream or not. It felt so real.
How could it not be real?

After some more cuddling, smoking and drinking, Thomas sat up straight.
"What was that? Did you hear it?" he asked Alex who shook her head.
"No seriously..." Thomas started acting weird, spaced out and schizo and Alex seemed worried but tried to calm him down. Thomas eyes turned from bright blue to a very dark shade of blue and Alex gasped and stepped back when he suddenly started filling the gun with more bullets.
"Rose?"
Embry opened the door to the kitchen and turned on the lights. Finding Rose there alone, with the table turned on its side and the lamp smashed to the floor.
"What the hell are you doing?"
