"Kaaaaede, that's my tree house!" Lucy warned her little sister, looking down at her with an angry frown.
Logan smirked, "She's just making sure it'll hold ya." He said, passing a plank across to Lucy. He got a few more and laid them down between the branches. While keeping a close eye on Luce, to make sure she wouldn't make a dive, he instructed the little girl on how to make a sturdy floor - building the foundation of her tree house together instead of building it for her, exactly as he'd said.

Mystique passed them wood when they needed it, and held their tools when they didn't. All the time Kaede wandered around by the tree, babbling to herself, ending up on her bottom in the grass, trying to eat her foot.

Soon enough, Lucy's tree house already consisted of a floor and a single layer of planks that would later become the walls. Lucy was already crazily happy with her new 'home' though, and she couldn't wait to show her baby sister and mummy how awesome it was. She peeked over the edge of the platform, her blonde curls in a mess and grime on her cheek while she grinned down at her mummy. "Climb uuup!" She told her, "You have to visiiiit! Kaede too!"

"We'll visit when it's finished, Luce, keep going," Mystique smiled up to her daughter, holding a hand over her eyes to block out the sun.

"Booo," Lucy pouted, although that mood didn't last long this time, as she bounced over the platform to help her daddy make the walls.

"Make a door that locks on the outside," Mystique called up, so they could lock Lucy inside and get some peace once in a while.

"Maybe it should be," Mystique mumbled under her breath with a smirk, as she sat down on the grass with Kaede. She laid down on her back as Kaede crawled onto her mummy's stomach.

Logan and Lucy spend another while building the walls (plus window), a hatch to enter and exit the three house, and the start of a roof. Lucy was getting tired though, and eventually Logan lowered himself from the hatch and landed on his feet in the grass next to Mystique. Lucy carefully leaned from the hatch too, dangling her feet in the air until her daddy helped her out. "We'll get ya a rope ladder." He promised the little girl. Lucy nodded happily, and bounced away far enough so she had a good view of the tree house. Although she was tired, she was grinning ear-to-ear, beaming with pride at the fact that she made that.

Mystique tilted her head to look at her little girl, and reached her hand out, pulling Lucy down in the grass with her. Mystique wrapped an arm around Lucy's waist, pulling her close and blowing a raspberry on her neck. "Looks damn good, Luce," She told her daughter.
