Logan lifted Kaede from the chair when she finished her breakfast, and wiped her face with the towel. "Practically good as new," He smirked at the little girl when she clawed at his beard.

Mystique smirked slightly and put Kaede down on her feet. "C'mon, mischief, let's go find your sister," She said, walking the baby outside.

Lucy was already running back towards the mansion to see what was taking her daddy so long, so she soon bounced around the three of them. "I want it theeere!" She pointed towards a tree at the edge of the forest behind the mansion.
Logan lifted her up on one arm, "Alright, let's go see if there's any lumber in the garage." He told her, carrying her there, while Lucy kept on blabbering about how awesome the tree she picked was.

Mystique walked Kaede straight to the tree, holding both the little girl's hands above her head, lifting her off the ground with every other step with a "weeeeee", making the baby giggle insanely.

Logan and Lucy returned with building materials a couple of minutes later - Lucy struggling to carry one plank and a hammer, while Logan carried the rest. They put all the stuff down by the tree trunk, before Logan lifted Lucy off the ground again. "Up you go," He told her, while he helped her stand on his shoulders first, so she could pull herself onto the tree's branches next. Lucy climbed up easily and unafraid, and once she sat down safely on a big branch, Logan climbed up after her. "Baby, wanna hand that over?" He told Mystique, with a nod at the lumber by her feet.

Mystique followed his gaze to the wood. "...no, I don't think I do," She smirked slightly, letting go of Kaede's hand to grab a pile and pass it up to him. Kaede climbed on the rest of the pile, slapping it with her hands.
