After Tom left Roxy's house that afternoon, he went to Jumpstreet like he planned. Nobody was there except Judy and Doug though. The rest was out to make a bust or something. Of course, Doug untactfully asked whether he'd been making any more contacts apart the 'cutie'. To which Judy got curious, and noticed the smiley-faced-phonenumber on the back of his hand.. and Tom spend the rest of the afternoon convincing them that he wasn't crushing on the cutie. As amusing as it was to them though, Tom felt like he wasn't so sure of what he said. He kept reminding himself that Roxy was just a 17-year-old girl with a pretty face. But it didn't really work. He was starting to like her for real, though he wouldn't admit it to himself. Yet. ~~ The day after that, after schooltime, Tom walked to his locker, expecting to find Roxy there to head to her place for the Biology thing. The day had been pretty unproductive. He hadn't learned anything new, and it was getting slightly irritating to him. But he figured maybe this afternoon would change something about it. Maybe.

"I gotta go, I'm meeting Tom for the biologyproject" "Okaaay.. have fun" Estelle winked at Roxy "I will, I will!" Roxy laughed and blushed furiously. Perhaps he would finally kiss her today! She had a shot...or so she thought. She headed down the stairs and to her locker, where she already saw Tom standing, waiting. "Hey there handsome stranger, care to explain what you're doing near my locker?" she gave him a playful quisitive look.

He grinned. He was definately getting worse at the no-flirting thing. "Just wondering what a girl like you is doing with a locker in a place like this." He told her.

"Oh, you see, this is my fake-locker, I have a golden one in a very special place" She laughed, her eyes lighting up. "Are you ready for some biology?" She opened her locker to put her german books in and grab all the stuff she needed for the biology project.

"Yep, I've made sure to do nothing all day so I can waste all my energy on you." Tom said.. and realized that he spoke sooner than he could thing. "...you..rr.. project. And mine." Well, that was a very failed rescue operation.

Roxy felt her cheeks get warmer as she heard Tom say those words and then try to save himself out of what he had just revealed. A small blush appeared on her cheeks as she looked down to her feet for a few seconds and then back at Tom again. She searched his face for a split second. He was so adorable when he tried not to flirt with her, for whatever reason that might be. It was as if he wanted to be the perfect gentleman, an 18-year-old trying to be courteous and make her feel like she was worth more than just kissing behind the school and quick-fake dates. This gave her all the more reason to believe that Tom was perfect for her. He must've been a present from somebody up there that really liked her. Sure, after Bart had left Elkwood (Her second crush who actually liked her back but had to move after only dating her for two months) she hadn't found a new guy to like and she was wondering if she would be the only dateless girl to her seniorprom (let alone the only girl NOT losing her virginity on promnight), but when Tom walked into that classroom a week ago it turned her whole world, stomach and heart upside down.
She would make her father understand that this was the boy she would want to date, whether he was new or not. She already knew he was safe, he had proven that by being polite, not nozy and overall just a normal teenage guy. Her father had to aprove of him, cause she could see herself spending way more time with him outside schoolhours. They would date, go to the cinema, eat at 'fancy' restaurants together and go to snazzy illegal parties together. She already planned their whole senior year together. He just HAD to like him.
If her opinion wouldn't be good enough for her dad then she'd even adress the fact that his mom died, just like hers did, and that his father was an accountant, not a cop like everyone feared. Tom was totally safe. She knew it, she could feel it. Everytime her eyes met his she was once again convinced that he was noone to feel watchful of.
She was completely ignorant of the unique programme of Jump Street, having no idea that a kid like Tom, or a man like Tom, could be a cop, undercover, pretending to be someone else.....
"Likewise" She said with a grin, not wanting him to feel emberassed for showing how he really felt. "Let's go, we've got so much work to do if we want to get an A+" She headed outside with Tom, to the busstation.

Tom was pretty grateful that Roxy showed him some mercy, by not pointing out his screw-up like she could've. Yesterday, after his visit to Jump Street, Tom had figured he shouldn't worry too much about Roxy's flirtations. After all, it happened before that a highschool student had a crush on one of the Jump Street members. He remembered the story about Ricky, who had been crushing on Judy. Sure, it was tricky, but she managed so why wouldn't he? The only thing that made all the difference though.. He liked Roxy back. Maybe he wasn't in love head over heels, but he was undeniably attracted to her. Not just physically (she was definately a stunner), but he took a liking to her personality more and more as he got to know her better. And that was dangerous. But Tom had figured out that as long as he didn't *act* upon it, this situation was no different from what others had coped with before. So he dared to flirt back, and hang out with her without feeling like he should guard his lines. As long as he kept himself aware of that one simple boundary: don't do anything. Words were fine, actions were bad news.
So, with this self-established rule in the back of his head, Tom felt like he could relax. And just talking to Roxy and joking around with her got a whole lot easier.
"An A+, huh? Are you gonna go all drill-sergeant on me until this thing is perfect?" He smirked, glancing at her from the corner of his eye as they got to the busstation. A bus was already arriving, so they got on, and Tom let Roxy go first.

Roxy sat down in the front, next to the window. She was fond of sitting by the window to look outside and dream off. Now, however, there was no time for dreaming. "I guess you'll just have to figure that out by yourself" She answered with a smirk, she occupied herself with tying her hair back as she kept an eye on Tom. "I do allow teabreaks, and I do like to have some fun here and there in between work, also.. I don't have a whip, so there's nothing you have to be afraid of" she giggled now. "But I am quite a perfectionist so be better give it your bestest" She leaned back in her seat and looked out of the window, she could see a slight bit of Tom's reflection next to her and it made her feel all fuzzy inside. Even a simple busride was now meaningful, cause he sat next to her. The bus would never be the same again

"Okay, okay. An A+ it is. As long as you don't push me towards a burn-out, I think I can handle you." Tom smirked. He glanced to the road ahead, recognizing the route they drove yesterday in Roxy's car. With the bus it only took a little while longer to get there, so soon enough they got out at the stop at the end of Roxy's street. Tom was secretly pretty curious about how she lived.

"bye" Roxy greeted the busdriver as they walked out. They crossed the street and walked back to her house, she grabbed her key and opened the door. "Come in" She said, heading in before him. She looked around and listened for a few seconds. It seemed pretty quiet, she couldn't hear her father on the phone or anything.. perhaps he was out for a while. "Do you want something to drink?" She asked as she went into the kitchen.
