Havok half grinned when she made a dig at him, but he didn't find it so amusing as she thought-- letting a darkness shine in his eyes that told how much he disliked her words. "And just what are you proposing we do about said problem. You want the X-men and Brotherhood to work together? You'll end up with plenty more dead mutants that way."
Taryn tensed up slightly when she heard what Logan had said about someone being hidden. This was why she didn't trust places or people-- too many others to listen in and eavesdrop on conversations. She was glad she hadn't said anything more revealing. She didn't need anyone to find out anything about her until she was certain this was the right place to stay. It was either here or the Brotherhood. She didn't have much options left, and she didn't particularly like humans, but she wasn't violent in nature and that's why she'd chosen the school over the Brotherhood.... for now.

Kittz sighed and stepped out of the wall not that she knew that Logan knew that she was there. At the same moment she made a mental note not to move again when she did that. "Hello." She smiled at them and walked over to the fridge like this was normal.

"If nobody does anything about it, every last mutant and human will be swept of the face of the earth. If we make a stand together, against these species, then maybe our future won't look quite as dark." Storm pointed out logically. "I know the X-men and the Brotherhood aren't the best of friends, but we don't have much choice."
Logan's eyes followed Kitty as she appeared from the wall and swiftly moved to the other side of the kitchen to pull open the fridge. Then he returned his attention to Taryn again. She seemed more tense all of the sudden. He gave a nod in Kitty's direction. "Kitty Pryde. Got an annoying habit of getting stuck in the wrong walls, but don't worry, she won't bite." He smirked.

Havok smirked, "You don't have much choice. We have a choice to combine with these supermutants. And that seems to be one hell of a choice right now." He rubbed his scruffy chin as he thought about it.
"Got an annoying habit of eavesdropping, apparently." Taryn said smoothly, "Doesn't she have class or something? This is a school, isn't it?" She glanced away from Kitty and towards Logan again, taking a drink of her beer and finishing it off.

"It would only be a choice if both parties would agree to that, wouldn't it?" Storm points out with the slightest shrug of her shoulders. "And their side wouldn't. Instead, you'd be six feet under the moment you tried." She paused. "If you don't trust my word for it, be my guest to give it a try." She raised one elegant eyebrow.
"Yeah, well, it's not my class if she's missing it." Logan shrugged indifferently. Sure this place was a school - and Storm even managed to convince him to teach all the danger-room and combat classes, but he wasn't about to prowl around looking for zit-faced teenagers who were skipping classes.

Havok grunted a bit when he realized she was probably right, and as much as he hated being proved wrong he wasn't going to act like a fool about this. "What kind of alliance are we talking about here?"
Taryn glanced over at him and raised a brow, "You teach a class?" She found that shocking. He didn't seem much of a teacher-- or socially inclined in anyway.

Storm was glad to see she was holding the upperhand in this meeting so far. She had the information, the proposal, and the contra-arguments for anything Havok thought up to sabotage her idea. And now he'd finally begun to agree. It was all going pretty well so far. "We work together. And for the moment, we don't kill eachother." Storm replied to his question.
Logan finished his beer and put the bottle aside. "Yeah." He smirked at her disbelieving look. "I know, huh? I teach these kids to fend for themselves. Yknow, some combat practice."

Havok gave her a placid grin that spread across his features and up to his eyes that were dancing with enjoyment, "So, we fight these supermutants instead. And when they're dead, we go back to being us, fighting and killing one another?" He leaned back in the chair and scratched his chin, "Seems a good idea as any."
"So they can grow up to become X-Men..." Taryn smirked a bit, "Does that mean I have to take your classes to join?"

Storm nodded, "I thought so. But you should know.. if we go through with this, and any of your people decides not to understand the agreement properly, we'll go back to fighting and killing eachother much sooner again." She threatened.
Logan shrugged, "Not all of 'em do. Some decide they're better of in the real world, but others seem pretty contagious to this safe-the-world idea." He smirked at her, "So it'd be up to you."

Havok smirked, "So long as you do your part then we shouldn't have any disagreements." He watched her carefully, "Just how do you propose to beat these mutants... as super as they might be."
Taryn smirked a bit, "I don't think I'm much of a save-the-world type, but I've run into my fair share of problems recently." She glanced around, "This place seems as good as any."
