Havok watched her without any looks of amusment for a moment, but then he got up, "You get into contact with me again when you have something worked out."
Taryn hurried out to where she'd hid her bag in the bushes since she'd walked here and didn't exactly have any place to put it otherwise. She pulled it out and brushed off the twigs and leaves before heading back inside, looking up and down the main hall and then back to the kitchen, "Where do I set up camp?"

"I will." Storm didn't argue with the responsiblity to think of a plan. She'd rather do that herself instead of leaving it in the hands of her worst enemy. She was surprised to see that Havok *would*.
Logan made a face at the mention of their possible alliance with the Brotherhood. He didn't like the idea. "We'll see." Is all he replied to Kitty's question. When Taryn walked back in he glanced over to her. "Right." He realized she needed a room. He'd have to inform Storm of their new arrival but he guessed he could do that after he set Taryn up with a place. He finished off his beer and got up. "C'mon." He lead the way.

Havok smirked as he headed to the door, "Good, and while you're doing that, I'll be coming up with a better plan."
Taryn glanced back at Kitty once as she followed after Logan, "Don't make me stay with some teenage boy." She warned easily, "I'm not much in the mood to deal with that."

"Surprise me." Storm got up as well, to show him out.
Logan smirked but didn't comment. He brought her to the first floor where the adults had their bedrooms. Sure the kids shared bedrooms to spare some space but for several reasons it'd be more convenient to keep Taryn on this floor. One of those being that Kitty had a point. They didn't have reason to trust her yet and having her close at hand would mean being able to keep an eye on her. He brought her to one of the vacant rooms. "There ya go."

Havok smirked, "Don't trust me enough to find my own way out?" He pressed a hand to his heart, "I'm insulted."
Taryn walked in and looked around at the normal and empty looking room. She didn't have much to put in it either, but she didn't mind it being a little plain. She glanced over her shoulder at him as she put her bag on the bed, "Thanks..."

"You can never be too sure." Storm said easily, not letting this guy wander around her school just like that. She wanted to see him leave this place before she'd feel at ease again.
"You're welcome." Logan replied, leaning against the doorframe. He had to go to his class soon, so he shrugged his shoulders at her. "Get settled, if ya need anything just ask whoever. I gotta go."

Havok made it to the door and her turned back to grin at her, "I'm sure we'll be seeing more of each other... soon." He said suggestively and then opened the double doors and wandered out.
Taryn half waved at him, fluttering her fingers as she did, "Bye." She didn't seem to be too upset to be left alone-- it would give her time to inspect the place out.

Storm rolled her eyes, turning her back to the door and walking back into the hallway. This better be worth it. Havok already prooved to be a pain in the ass.
Logan left her alone. He'd check on Storm later, first he had to get to his class cos he'd been developing a habit of being late.

(night time ) Taryn's eyes snapped open from where she was laying on her new bed. It was the third time in the last ten minutes that she'd woken herself up. At first, she thought it had been just the uncomfortable bed. The second time she thought it must have been the thought of being in a new place. The third time though, she knew it wasn't either one of those. She slowly raised herself to her feet, padding barefoot to the door and opening it up. The halls were dark and quiet and it must have been pretty late at night now. She glanced down both ways of the hall and almost ducked back into her room, but something caught her attention at the end of the hall-- a bright and quick flash of light, then a muffled sound of something... a scream? A whimper? Taryn wasn't the type of girl to go out like a brave-soldier and see what had happened. She was always there in the aftermath, rather than during the fact. It was easier to heal someone when they were already hurt. But now, her interest caught the better of her and she quietly stepped into the hallway, sliding against the wall down towards where the light had come from. She heard the sound of two others coming her way though and she quickly ducked into the nearest room, opening and closing the door as quietly as she could. They'd made their way into the school easy enough, having got rid of the night watch easier than the last time the school had been attacked. But then again, these two weren't normal mutants... they were anything but. Their powers were acceled and mastered. They didn't make mistakes very often. Their orders were clear enough. Bring back those that could be used to serve their new race and kill all the others. If they fought, then kill them either way. Quick orders. To the point. Another billiant flash brightened the hallway for a second, but this time, the room they attacked had more than just one in it and the second mutant was able to get out a loud piercing shout-- a banshee shout, no doubt that shook the entire school residence before he too, was cut down by one of the men in another billiant flash.

Logan had been sleeping all along. His heightened senses hadn't picked up anything unusual enough to wake him. Whoever was breaking into the school was doing it professionally. Soundlessly. It wasn't until the scream that he shot up in his bed, instantly awake and hearing the icecold shout echo in his ears.
Two seconds later he was in the hallway, dressed in jeans alone. The other doors opened as well, Storm, Colossus, and the others rushing out to see what the hell happened. There was shouting down the hall. Being the first to move again, Logan ran in that direction - ready for whatever was there..
