(I was out last night, so yah Obviously I wasn't online. ) Logan groaned as Taryn crashed down on the street, wrecking his bike (and probably herself) as she did. He walked over, not really in the mood to hurry 'bout someone who brought this shit down on herself. Again. Standing next to Taryn on the road, he didn't see any bones poking out of the flesh or limbs in angles that weren't possible. He quirked an eyebrow, "You should've ordered a fucking cab." He told her. Then, he went over to his motorcycle and crouched by it, before pulling it back to an upright position. It was scratched all over one side, and some parts were dented or bend. "You owe me a bike." He called over to Taryn.

Taryn groaned and put an arm over her face when he walked over and started making comments-- as if she didn't already feel like a fool. "Yeah," She half snorted to him when he said the last part, "like I have enough to get you a bike... or get that one fixed... or whatever." She muttered, obviously flustered for more reasons than the recent crash. She eventually removed her arm from over her eyes and rolled over to get to her feet, biting her lip as her back sent a sharp pain to the rest of her limbs. She'd almost forgotten the deep cut back there.

Logan fixed his glance on her as she struggled to an upright position. The fact that she could still stand was a good sign, though he could tell she wasn't exactly in an optimistic mood. "So.. where were you running of to?" He asked pretty matter of factly.

Taryn shrugged her shoulders once she was on her feet and then immediately regretted it, pursing her lips together as another short blast of pain hit her. She bit down on the bottom of her lip and took a shaky breath, "I don't know..." She managed out. "Never know."

"There's not gonna be a lot of places to run to." Logan told her, letting the bike stand by itself, and walking back over to Taryn. "That's what I was gonna tell you before you decided to jump out of a window and risk your life on a motorcycle."

Taryn pulled a slight face, "I've been on a motorcycle before, Logan." She told him slowly, "Yours is just... weird." She couldn't think of a better way to describe it, slowly moving to wipe her hands on her jeans. She ignored the first part about her half attempt to run away since it was more than a little awkward.

"You're the one who can't hold on to the thing, sweetheart." Logan pointed out. But he figured this wasn't the time to start bitching at eachother, so he just crossed his arms over his chest and gave her a look. "So. Are you gonna listen to the news I got? Afterwards you'll get to decide whether you *still* want to run."

Taryn shrugged, "Somehow I doubt whatever you say is going to change my mind." She moved to mirror his motion and cross her arms over her chest, setting up straight across from him, "But by all means, lay it out."

"The thing in the town where we were was on the news." Logan started explaning. "They mentioned a second occurance, though. Where the same people went crazy about killing again. Now the thing is, I sorta figured that the reason why you and I hadn't been brainwashed before, unlike everyone else, was because we've been involved with that evil-turning machine before. So we'd be immune." He paused, glancing back to the mansion for a split second, "I still think that's it, yknow. But the supermutants probably improved the thing so it works a second way 'round too." Now, his gaze went back to Taryn, "Which leaves only two people I know 'bout who are immune to their tricks. You and me. And my guess is that they're gonna come after us for that."

Taryn took a moment to digest the information and sort it out again. She gave a slow nod and then looked up at him, arms still crossed over her chest, "Well, I don't see how that changes anything..." She almost hesitated, covering it up with a clear of her throat, "Just makes us better off. No more going crazy-- doing supermutants biddings." At the moment, she just wanted to run away from this place and everyone that blamed her for Rogue's death-- though she blamed herself, it was a little harder to run from her own self.
