Sadie was a bit worried since she'd never been through anything like this before, however she sure wasn't going to let it show. 'This could be my chance to prove myself.' she thought. She nodded and watched the sky a bit longer then went on to say "Well d'ya have 'ne more work for me to do before it comes?" she asked, she figured she might as well keep herself bussy.

Jack kept quiet for a little while, his eyes still set on the sky, thoughts apparently distant. Eventually, he looked at Sadie again though. "How much dye actually know about work aboard a ship, luv?" He asked her, seemingly out of the blue.

Sadie thought for a moment about lieing, but knew it would probably get her in trouble. "Not to much.." She said with a frown. "But'm a quick learner.. really." She informed him. There was nothing more she wanted then to learn how to do work aboard a ship, though during a storm might not be the best time she was more then willing to try.

"Yer stayin' belowdecks during the storm." Jack easily informed her after her confession. "I can't use you updecks if ye don't know how to pull yer weight. If ye knock yerselves overboard that's one thing, but I can't risk ye taking any others down in the process. Savvy?"

Sadie turned to him and gave him a dirty look, "Nay, I wanna help, I'm not gunna go sit below deck like some li'l harlet." She snapped at him with one hand on her hip. Just then she felt a rain drop on her check.

"Who named you captain?" Jack smirked sarcastically. "You do as I say, Sadie. Now, you can go by free will or I'll just put you into the brig personally."

"Fine." she grunted. "And what d'ya propose I do well I'm sitting there, NOT making meself usefull?" She asked, partly being sarcastic and partly serious.

"Find a book on shipwork, learn the theory." Jack returned the same sarcasm.

"Ye don't, then? Here's an infinately better task for ye. Learn to read whilst being on a pirate ship in a tropical storm. How does that sound?" He smirked.
