Sadie stared at him and felt her aggravetion rising. She rolled her eyes and walked away from him making her way down the stairs from the helm mummbling a few curses under her breath. She couldn't have that pointless conversation anymore.

That was just Jack's intention though. Annoying her was probably the easiest way to get her to leave. As it often was the case with women.
With her gone, Jack turned his attention to much more important matters. He shouted the orders over the deck that all men should take their stations and get to work. The rigging needed to be secured before the storm hit them. And some of the canvas (not all, but some) was ought to be taken down.

Just before she went below deck the sound of Jacks voice shouting orders caught her attention. She paused for a moment, fighting herself in her head but she couldn't help herself. Once Jack wasn't paying atention she found herself mixed up with the crew members becoming unnoticed she watched as a crew member began securing the rigging and copied exactly what he was doing and had no problem. She want on copying what some of the other men were doing and was doing a good job at it. She didn't care if jack were to throw her over bored for it, there was no way she'd be below deck right now.
(Don't mind me I really don't know what anything on a ship is called or how they do it lol)

( ;D )
Soon enough, the storm started to hit. The wind was strong as hell, causing the waves of the ocean to rise and fall high, taking the Pearl along with every motion. Jack stood firmly at the helm, his hat pressed deeply over his eyes to keep the rain from hitting them.

Sadie went on suprised at herself that she was doing so well. She stuck to the smaller, easier tasks, but she was still very proud.
All of a sudden she seen something out of the corner of her eye. The same short, skiny man she had a confrontation with earlier had lost his balance. She had made it over to him just in time, just as he went overbored she grabed his arm with both of her hands and pulled him back on deck. They both fell to the ground, him ontop of her.

Due to the chaos of the storm, nobody paid attention to either of them though. Only the crewmember she saved stared at her in wide-eyed surprise. He scrambled to his feet, regaining his balance. Without saying another word, he hurried off to the other side of the deck..

She watched as he ran off then went on doing her own work as well. The storm was getting worse, and it was getting harder for her to stand up striaght, but she kept her balance. She wondered how she couldn't get in a hammock, but she was doing pretty good during this storm.
But the sound of thunder and the flash of lightning broke her thoughts. The rain was coming down, harder now then ever. She kept finding it harder and harder to stand and do her work, but she managed..somehow.

At some point, Jack shouted at his crew to take down the rest of the sails. The storm was at a climax now, but they still needed to live through the rest of it too. (gotta go! Cya! XX)

(Nighty Night ;D )
Doing the best to keep her balance, she wondered how she could stand through all this, but she found it impassable to get in a hammock. Suddenly her thoughts were broken but the crashing sound of thunder and the flash of lightning. The rain was comming down harder now, then ever, and the high winds were making it harder and harder for her to stand up. She went on, struggling with her tasks, still surprised that she hadn't been caught, also that she was doing so well at something that was so new to her. For a slight moment she lost her balance, but another crew member straightened her out then went on about his work, never looking directly at her, so he didn't even notice that it was, in fact, her. She hoped this horrible storm would end soon.
When she heard Jacks order she begain to climb up the rat lines, hights were always her thing so she wasn't worried about that, she loved the thrill of being so high from the ground. She watched closely as the man closest to her begain taking down the sails and did just as he did. She had a hard time keeping herself from falling, but to her own surprise it all came natural, she knew that this is what she was born to do. One of the ropes gave her a slight brush burn on her hand. She Winced at the pain, but ignored it and went on about her work.
The storm lasted for about an hour longer and finally when Sadie looked out into the horizon she could she the rays of sun getting closer and closer. Once they exited the storm she sat down to catch her breath and wait for Jack to either shout more orders, or notice that she had been on deck the whole time, and lock her in the brig for it.

Jack did neither though. Once they parted from the storm, and the seas were calm again, he granted the crew a rest. Most of them were exhausted due to working so hard in such circumstances. If he wanted a fit crew as quickly as possible again, he knew to leave them alone now. So he did just that. He left the helm, taking off his hat which dripped water, and walked over to Sadie.
He'd noticed her. Of course he did. Even in the chaos of the storm, it wasn't hard to make out her siloutte, moving about just a bit more clumbsily than the rest. But, which had surprised Jack beyond reasoning.. not as clumbsy or useless as he had expected. She'd pulled her weight in the storm, unlike anyone could've expected from her. Nevertheless, once he stood by her side and looked down on her, he didn't say that. "I thought I'd told ye to keep yer ass belowdecks." He mentioned instead.
