Astoria stared Jack in the eye for what seemed like forever, before pulling away and uncorking her bottle. She took a long swing of rum to prepare herself for what was about to happen. She slammed the bottle down on a near by table, pulled off her hat and untied the ribbon from her hair, letting it fall lose at her shoulders. "Aye, ya got me cap'n." She said in a calm, yet shaky voice. "So what do we do now?" She climbed up on the table and took a seat , with her feet resting on the bench in front of her. "Shoot me? Throw me over board? Maroon me?" She picked up the bottle and took another long swig to stop herself from giving him ideas.

"No", Jack said. "Even though ya lied ta me, decieved me, an' put yerself in a dangerous situation, I won't do any of those things ta ya."
He took the bottle from Astoria and took a swig.
"Ya know, Asty", Jack said using her nickname. "We have a long way ta return ta Tortuga. I doubt we'll be goin' back anytime soon. I suggest that ya make yerself well at home in my quarters."
He pointed up the stairs.

She raised an eye brow when he said he wasn't going to do any of that.. Not even lock her in the brig!! Then he used her nickname. She stood up and snatched the bottle from him. "There is absolutely no way I'm stayin' in yer room." She tied her hair back up, put her hat back on and made her way for the door. Just before leaving she said "And don't ever call me Asty!" then stormed back on deck were the look outs had just got done switching shifts in the crows nest.

Jack smiled when Astoria yelled at him. It was just like old times again. Back when he first met her. Jack went up to look for her. He had questions for her now that he knew who she was. He saw her climb up into the crow's nest and followed her.
"Asty", he called quietly so the rest of the crew wouldn't hear. "Asty, I want ta talk ta ya."

Before she sat down, she turned to look at Jack and began to rant - which is what she usually does when she's been drinking - "I may have slept with you for money when I was desperate, dumb and miserable.. I may have saved yer stupid bloody life from that damn solider . . . Yes I literally took a bullet for you - yet another stupid decision on my part 'cuz surly you aint worth it, but I swear on my alcoholic whore of a mothers grave that if you call me Asty one more time I will push yer ass off this crows nest faster then you can say 'why's the bloody rum gone?'!!" She took a minute to catch her breathe, then took another long swig of rum and plopped down on the floor.

"Why's the bloody rum gone?" Jack said.
He waited for a second. Astoria did nothing to him.
"So...Asty, how did ya manage ta hide those?" he asked.
He pointed at her breasts. Jack only meant the question as a joke, just to provoke her to see what she would do.

She looked at him like he was stupid when he actually said why is the rum gone, then when he called her Asty again and made a comment about her breasts she punched him in the face. "So I didn't push you off and I lied on my mothers grave. . . I never liked her much anyway." She said nonchalantly and took a swig of rum.

Jack groaned as he rubbed his face.
"It was a joke", he explained. "Although I was curious."
He looked at Astoria simpathetically when she mentioned her mother.
"So why did ya lie ta me?" Jack asked. "Why didn't ya just tell me who ya were?"

She laughed so hard she snorted at his question. "Okay, let's try this. . 'Hi, I'm the prostitute you paid for sex last night, mind if I join yer crew?'" She laughed again.

"I might've let ya join", Jack says. "I could use the company. The crew can do what ya can do."
