Roux briefly had his attention with the conversation when Vianne settled her gaze on him, but that attention faded again quickly. He was wondering what to do with his situation at work. He was angry at his employer for even daring to refuse people, just because they were slightly different. But moreover, he wondered if he could possibly do the same.. To keep his job, he reminded himself. To make a living, make a life, with Vianne and Anouk. But could he do it, if he was facing the choice..?

"I eh.. Have you seen Sophie lately?" Vianne decided to speak her mind about it anyway. She couldn't keep this from Roux "I walked into her today..she was looking for you"

"What?" Roux looked up with a slight frown, "No.. I haven't seen her in a while." He looked back to his plate, poking a patatoe onto his fork. "Why was she looking for me?"

"I don't know.. maybe she's not completely done talking to you or something ? Whatever it is, i'm sure she'll be back" she mumbled absently minded. "she avoided talking to me as much as possible, I'm not sure why though.." Vianne glanced Roux for a second, wondering if he knew what this Sophie girl was up to.

Roux didn't know though. And frankly, his mind wasn't completely with the conversation either. He shrugged his shoulders, "I don't know either. We'll see. If she comes back I'll talk to her." He finished the rest of his meal and briefly looked over to Vianne, as if he only just remembered she was sitting across the table. "...How was passing out the samples of chocolate?" He asked about her day at last.

"It was great, I think we'll have many people coming to the opening tomorrow. The people were lavid about my chocolate and I told them about my way of working and how I can find the perfect chocolate type for them, everyone is very interested" Now that Vianne talked about her work of the day, her mood changed a bit. It had been a really good day work-wise and that made her happy. "You should see if you can get some time off tomorrow to come to the opening.."

"Yeah, I'll see what I can do." Roux promised. Right now, he wouldn't mind spending all his time here, and none at work, where hypocritical bastards ran the show. He didn't speak his thoughts out loud though. He just finished his dinner, and when Vianne and Anouk were finished too he helped with the dishes in silence. When Anouk left to go to bed later that night, his mood still hadn't changed.

Vianna had been wondering around the house, trying to keep her mind off of her meeting with Sophie, the plans that girl could be up to and the fright of being caught in Paris by the police.. Everything was so out in the open now. Her shop was opening tomorrow, people would get to know her, the city would hear about her fabulous Chocolaterie, she would be easy to trace.. Wondering around the house was barely doing it's job, and eventually she went out into the backyard, where she found Roux sitting on the ground. She had no idea how much he wanted to escape the house, the city, the 'normal' people, she guessed he just needed some fresh air. "It's a beautiful night tonight, isn't it?" she interrupted the sounds of nature.

He hadn't heard her coming, so he turned his head sharply when she spoke. "Yeah," He said, relaxing when he saw it was her. "Quiet, for Paris, I suppose." He moved a little so she could sit next to him, and he put an arm around her shoulders to keep her warm. It was autumn now, and it was steadily getting colder.

"hm.. sweet Paris" she smiled a little "It has been treating us pretty good so far, right ?" she glanced over to Roux, wondering if he felt the same. She did not know about his arguments with his boss, and thus had no idea that Paris started to look more and more grim to him.
