Roux's gaze darted over to her, a flash of anger bubbling inside of him. Nice. He wouldn't think of his boss as nice, considering the man threatened to beat people with spanners just because they were different. Roux bit his tongue though. He took the cup of hot chocolate from Vianne and took a sip, before he pulled himself together enough to answer. "Yeah. I finished early anyway, so it wasn't a problem."

"hm" she smiled at him "Look at you.. I bet you could run that place.." she mumbled, thinking of the idea of Roux having his own business. He would be suited for it. especially now that he didn't have his own boat anymore to worry about

Roux laughed, "Not really. I fix boats, I don't run places that fix them. One day of paperwork, tax-problems, employer issues and finance and I'd jump in the Seine to drown myself." He joked.

She chuckled "I wouldn't let you" she told him while leaning over the counter and placing a kiss on his forehead. She was so proud of him, proud of her man who was coping by her side, in a city, away from the rivir. He was dealing with it so well that is surprised her, but not in a suspicious way. She had asked him numerous times about whether he was okay, whether he felt at home. Always did he answer in the same way, it was a bit difficult, but he was managing, for them. He didn't seem misserable at all and thus Vianne assumed that all was fine with Roux. And since everything was fine (no..great) with her as well, she could only be happy now. As she watched Roux drink his hot chocolate, looking all peaceful and in place in her shop, she grinned "when this day is over and I close the shop.." she said, lowering her voice just a little "then it's going to be all about us" she said with a wink.

Roux looked at her over the cup of hot chocolate, a slight smirk playing on his features. "I'll keep you to that." He 'warned' her teasingly.

Around 6, when Vianne was ready to close the shop, Anouk came skipping back in "Maman!! Can I have dinner at Catherine's place? Her mother invited me over" she smiled broadly "Of course you may, sweety. Just be home at 8 okay?" She placed a kiss on her daughter's head and watch her skip over to Roux for a hug.

Roux lifted Anouk off her feet and gave her a tight hug, "Have fun, petite." He told her, before she skipped out of the door to follow Catherine and her mother.

Vianne closed and locked the door behind Anouk and then went back to Roux. She wrapped her arms around his neck "I... am SO happy" she said, as if she had thought a lot about it and come to that conclusion. She stared into his eyes, her eyes glowing "I was afraid it was impossible after the arrest and running away but.. it's truely happening, I'm happy"

"Good. It's good that you're happy." Roux smiled. Her happiness meant the world to him. "Let's make sure things stay that way, huh?" He said, his mind only wandering to a second to the promise he would have to keep that night.
A knock on the closed door interupted their moment.

Vianne kissed Roux but looked up and frowned when she heard the knock on the door "hold that thought" she smirked and walked over to the door, opening it.
