He tried to talk softly to her to comfort her as he kept his eyes on the road, but when her voice got louder and more desperate he turned his head and looked at her and said calmly but strict;
"We will find her"
He locked his determined sharp eyes into her wild and desperate eyes and gave her hand a little squeeze.
"We will find her"
He kept locking her gaze in his to give her at least some comfort. He couldn't have her freaking out now as he was on the verge himself, but kept as cool as he could be

Alex looked at him a moment then tore her eyes out to the street.
"We're too far. She couldn't have walked this whole way. She's just learning... somebody took her."
She came up with it and felt her heart launch into her throat at the thought.
"Oh god... somebody too her, Thomas."

He drove really slow now, the car almost crawling the street as he scanned the surrounding for their daughter.
"Well, we're gonna take her back..."
he looked back at Alex
"Alex, has anybody threathened you lately?" He saw her confused look and added; "Something about taking Jadyn or just something that can lead us?"
He started thinking about if he had the answer aswell to a question like that

Alex pressed her palms to her forehead, searching for an answer.
"I don't know..."
She whimpered a little, stressed out.
"I can't fucking remember. Maybe--- I don't know!"

He looked at her, then turned his attention back to the road in silence as his brain was racing. He slammed his hand hard on the wheel
"Fuck!"
but then swallowed and calmed down slightly again, focusing on where he was driving and how to look for his daughter while millions of suggestions and questions were racing in his head
Can't call the cops, can't bring those into this....what do they want from me?? Money surely... Oh fuck, I need my babygirl back!

Alex leaned her face in her hands for a little while and then she sat up, her hands scrambling around until she found her cellphone.
"We have to call the cops."
She started to dial the number she knew quite well now.

"No!" He snatched the cellphone from her hands and hung up, then looked at her
"What if they hurt her if we do? Alex, she's been kidnapped I just know it! Just a fucking matter of time before they tell me some fucking ransom they want!" he swallowed, his heart beating hard in his chest and he looked back to the road
