I watch him like a hawk as he looks over my false document, "I save all my best ones for you because I like to see you work harder." I grin.

Cora and I have spent the morning moving our very few belongings from the inn to the Pearl. It's taken so long because she insists on carrying only the baggage which is twice her size; sailors stop and laugh while she scowls at them, her brow sweating.

"I'm sure you do," I fold the map, my gaze fixed on her face immediately. "I won't accept any trouble aboard." I inform her, "If you break that single rule, I'll drop ya in the sea and wave ye off. Agreed?"

"I'm offended you think I'd be anything but a bloody saint." I tell him, beginning to head towards the gangplank.
"Anyway, I'm sure there will be a lot of other things to distract you this time 'round. With your ship becoming a nursery and all."

"The child's Rae's concern. As long as they prove their worth, there won't be any trouble," I inform her in a mumble. I absolutely don't intend to give them a free ride - my Pearl is not a bloody ferry boat, so they can work same as everyone else. My generosity extended to accepting them aboard, but Rae knows under which conditions. Besides.. I'm curious whether the girl - Cora - really has that knack for a sailor's life that she makes me believe.

I just turn my face to him with a smirk that sums up a mixture of knowing better than him and being generally amused by this statement. I know that they will be trouble, a lot more than they are worth. This little drama doesn't actually amuse my own worries, I would rather them disappear - but the fact it's going to screw with Jack's precious lifestyle choice can't avoid pleasing me in a small way, if any at all.
I step onto the decks and look back to Jack as he returns. I have no personal effects to worry about that I don't already carry on me, weapons and clothing are all I really require thesedays. As for secondary items, such as perfume and nostalgia.. the Pearl keeps them for me, like a floating cargo-hold without rent. I know where to find everything I leave behind each time one of our sad little ventures end.

"So are you going to enlighten me on the rest of the route, for this li'll venture?" I inquire, tapping a finger on the incomplete map she gave me. "Or will I be working with hunches and guesses for a course?" I raise an eyebrow sceptically.

I turn to him, "I know the course. I'll need to use some of yer papers to work it out all proper, though. I need another map to plot it on. But I suppose I'll jest leave the end off fer now," I step towards him, "As a little leverage, as it were."

"I'm baffled that you do not trust me," I tell her, unable to hide a smirk at the statement.

"It's impossible to believe ain't it?" I roll my eyes and put a hand on his shoulder, "Don't worry, darling - if you're lucky I might find even more reason to dislike you."
